I use these all the time when I wire my car or another project. They are cheap and work great for waterproof connections. I usually use a lighter on the heat shrink and it works well, a heat gun is idea so the glue doesn't bubble too much. this is a great, cheap kit for the more basic things. I have yet to have one that has failed besides from my own doing

These are very similar to the actual 3M Perma-Seal connectors. These are the best option for making automotive wiring connections, crimp, and then shrink down the heatshrink!

Just make sure you leave the heat on the connector until the hot glue inside them melts! You'll know when because the connector will turn more transparent when the adhesive is melted!

I'm reviewing the Ginsco 250 piece Terminals, crimp-on with the heatshrink & adhesive.

I was just looking to replenish my electrical supplies and these terminals (some insulated, some not) were some of the specific supplies I was searching for. I use these for my weather protected connections. I use these on mostly automotive but I have used them on 110v household appliances, such as on the controls of something.

I have used Ginsco's other electrical hardware, such as their adhesive filled, heat shrink, crimp butt connectors. They were referred to me by a friend who does YT videos, as he had used them as well, with good results. I'm glad I chose these, as these work as well as those I buy in the big box stores, but for 1/5 the cost! Maybe even less! These types of products or supplies can certainly add up.

I've already used some of the terminals from this kit and so far, they all installed easily and passed the "tug test". The insulation is also intact after crimping, so they should hold up in the application I used this for, which was to wire up an aftermarket radio and dashcam in my own vehicle. I will definitely order from Ginsco in the future.

I bought this from the seller "GinscoDirect" but fulfilled by Amazon, which I feel is important to list this info. I've come across sellers with variances in their items, including knockoffs, even if listed as same brand. I'll post an update with a durability review.

I am refurbishing my 1986 Boston Whaler that my dad bought new. One thing that we always hated was the poor job the dealer did wiring the boat and the meas it always was. I found this terminal kit to be perfect in providing all the terminal ends I needed and how well they shrunk to make a total water tight seal. The only complaint is that they used a cheap flimsy box to store them in. The dividers began to come loose as soon as it was opened. The parts mixed up with in minutes it seemed and it refused to close when I finished for the day. Of course I had to drop it when I was cleaning up and now the parts are every where.
