Outstanding product.

I used the product on a roof that was leaking. It had some large seam cracks and filled them with this product. Once dry I coated the entire roof with Henry Tropicool.
All worked great!
Proven heat reduction - Waterproof seams in metal trailr roof

The lap seal on my cargo trailer had begun to crack and water was leaking down the insides of the walls.
I contacted the manufacturer (Henry) who reccomended I also use Henrys repair fabric (elastotape) also available on Amazon. The product is very thick, just like you would expect from a lap-seal caulk or other industrial sealant. It was too thick to paint on with a paint brush.
I troweled down a six inch wide swath over the old seams in my trailer roof. About 3 feet at a time. I would put a solid coat but very thin, then cut a piece of the tape and lay the tape over the fresh sealant. The trick is to tap lightly and rub on the tape to get it completely pressed into the sealant. Trowel from the center of the tape piece towards teh ends, this will put pressure on the tape to keep it straight while coating the tape in another layer of sealer. If you trowel from one end of the tape to the other you will drag wrinkles into the tape (not good).

It took 3 gallons to do all the seals on a 8.5ft x 20ft cargo trailer as shown in photos. I used a trowel taped to a stick to hit the centers of the cross beams. I put it down real thick, and technically gave it two coats with one below the tape and one above. On day two, I put my hand on the unpainted portion of the roof and nearly burnt myself within a second - it was that hot in Florida today. Six inches over I touched the freshly painted white tropicool and it was not hot at all. The reflective capacity of the coating is super impressive, big bonus in addition to a solid waterproofing.

The improvement was enough that I am going to get two gallons of the tropicool roof coating (its thinner than the tropicool joint sealer) and give the whole roof one thin coat of the sealer just to pull everything together and to reflect heat off the roof. I would have been skeptical of reflective coatings till having put this on as part of waterproofing.

Notes: don't mix the sealer, as it says on the direction. Don't have the paint guy at the store put it on a mixer. It was ready to go like a thick white paste.
All three of my cans had a white crystal-like froth on the surface (shown in pic). Just mix it in to the top layer, it was no problem at all, just froth from the machine that filled the can.

Excellent product - must be applied correctly

Easy to use, does an excellent job at stopping leaks when applied correctly. Excellent at reducing heat penetration on hot sunny days. Excellent product but gave it 4 stars because it is so expensive.
Excelente producto!

Es caro , pero dejas de batallar, es flexible y facil de aplicar. Quisiera darle 6 estrellas ðŸ‘
