It took me a day or two of adjusting (myself and the pillow) to get used to it, but now that I have I'm quite happy with this. Make sure to keep any stuffing you pull out (I pulled out two 1-gallon ziplock bags worth). That way, as the pillow "settles in" (read: the foam compresses a bit) you can add some back in if you like. I know that the foam is for sale here on amazon but can't fathom needing to order more... the pillow comes very well-endowed. Thick pillow lovers rejoice! (Thin pillow lovers will be happy too.)

What I quite like about this pillow is that, since the foam is truly in small bits and free-floating, you can shape and fluff the pillow how you like. It is analogous to how you can shape a good down pillow. I bunch it up in a way that it almost wraps around me in a C shape while I'm on my side. It is perfect. That said, if you just want to use it like a "normal" pillow, it does that well too. I can use it to sleep on my back or shape it to sleep on my side, then fluff it to start the cycle all over again.

Knowing that the whole thing can be washed and doesn't have to be scrapped if I get sick is wonderful too. It regains its shape with a good fluff very easily. My old pillow had cotton stuffing and I could never get it quite right or back to normal. I also never wanted to put it behind my back to read in bed for fear of smushing it to death. I do not have that fear with this pillow in the slightest. It rebounds at the drop of a hat.

For any worriers out there, yes, it does stink when you first get it. And yes, that smell goes away completely after a day or two.

(EDIT/ clarification: I should clarify that this does NOT feel the exact same as a super soft down pillow. You can simply shape the pillow as if it was filled with down.)

Pillow was well-made, nicely stitched, and the foam is soft to the touch in the hand. The feel of the cover was lovely and the pillow felt cool and didn't heat up like my old pillows. Hated the smell but with the 30 night trial I had enough time to air it out properly for days (I don't have a drier) and give it a test for 2 weeks. Unfortunately, the pillow wasn't for me but the service from the company Coop Home Goods was wonderful to deal with.

I really like this pillow, particularly the feature that allows you to adjust it to fit your particular sleeping pattern. But it is a bit larger than a standard pillow and you may need to buy larger pillow cases to accommodate this.

I really like this pillow. I have 2 other brand foam pillows I have got over the past couple of years. I still have the other 2 on my bed, but I end of falling asleep with this one. It stays cool which is a biggie for me.
