Me: Male, 5'11 @ 195lbs
Shipping/Packaging: Item was boxed and came in pieces - ready for assembly. All hardware was included and labeled. Instructions included and chair pieces were protected by bubble wrap. Inspected the box and chair parts and did not see any damage to the box nor its contents.
Assembly: If you follow the instructions and use common sense, then assembling this chair will be relatively easy. The instructions are clear enough and items are labeled. It took me 45 minutes (approx). ONLY CHALLENGE - aligning the hand rails to the holes of both the back portion of the chair and the seat portion of the chair was difficult. I opted to do this one side at a time. I set the chair (back and seat) on it's side and aligned rails to the holes and placed screws in the holes and then tightened. Repeat for the other side. Other than that, it went swimmingly. After inspection and a little bit of tightening, the chair looks and feels pretty solid.
Comfort: My lower back was always hurting before this - I obviously needed good lumbar support in an office chair - which this chair does - it offers decent support. The material feels great, plush and deep. It's very comfortable. Time will tell, if the materials in the chair will break down, but as of right now, it's pretty good.
Quality: It's not real leather, I knew this getting it, and I'm not upset by it. The material feels great and it looks amazing. If assembled correctly, this chair feels solid and durable. I didn't trust the plastic frame where the wheels fit on my plush carpet, so I got a mat and it seems to have offered better "rolling".
Overall: I love it - time will tell how this will hold up. But as of right now - it's great. I'm not sure how people are using this chair and noted broken frames, metal pieces, ripped material. Perhaps consider the weight limitations and habits. But for me, I simply sit on it. Great value buy and it looks good.

I have been using this chair for over a year and it's still comfortable and no squeaks.

The locked position still feels good and the rocking is still quiet and comfortable after 1 year. I would give build quality a 9 out of 10 for the price.
Decent chair for the money

I recently purchased an Amazon basics low back chair to work from home. I found out quickly it wasn't going to work for me. At 6'1" and 235 lbs it was just too small and had my back hurting halfway through the day. So after looking around a while I picked this one. It was a high back, looked decent and mentioned it was ergonomic. As I will be moving shortly, I didn't want to invest in a Herman Miller just yet.
The reviews are very mixed when it comes to individual height. I find it more than supportive and fits me fine. Yes, my head won't touch the headrest unless I slouch. Well, this is solely for work and not napping. Another review mentioned it fells like you are being pushed forward. I can say I feel that, but it's actually a good thing. In my research I found that is normal. It's part of the ergonomics. Keeping you at a correct posture makes for a pain free day at the desk. The only other thing I may recommend is to purchase a desk foot stool. That makes the entire set up very comfortable. For a sub $150 chair I don't think you can do much better. I hated buying a chair without sitting in it, but this one worked out great.

Solid chair after 1 year of use

Positives;
Pretty good chair so far one year in, back is perfectly fine along with the integrated headrest. Lumbar support is perfect for me, Nice range of motion & looks professional and styled towards gamers at the same time.
Negatives;
Main seat padding is starting to get a bit flat after a year of heavy use, End caps on the arms sometimes come off if they get squished while being installed, I only today figured out how to tilt the chair back (It doesn't lock in a tilted position, could be fixed with a simple drill if you're careful),

The lever goes on the RIGHT hand side not the left, as they claim!

I just purchased so I can only review based on assembly and feel of the chair. In terms of looks, the chair looks good once assembled.
Here is a WARNING: PUT THE BASE ON SO THAT THE LEVER IS ON THE RIGHT. This will ensure that the chair tilts back, the way it should. The way they tell you on the instructions is backwards and will cause your chair to tilt forward, which isn't what you want. So if you already assembled it with the lever on the left side, remove the 4 screws holding the base to the seat, and rotate so the lever is on the right hand side and reinsert the screws.
The rest of the assembly was good and smooth.
I think this chair is middle quality and support. Not the most luxurious, but definitely comfy enough for your home office. If you're a larger bodied person, this may not be deep or tall enough to your liking. I'm 5 feet 6 inches tall and over 200 lbs, and it comes to the top-middle of my head which is just enough to be comfortable. I may come back and update this review in a few weeks.
