Brings water to a boil quickly.

I bought a different heater to replace the one I broke. I returned it because it wouldn't boil water. I just got this one and it works perfectly! Heats to a boil in minutes. Yay!
Warning: I killed my old one because I did not unplug it before removing it from the water to put in another cup. I had it for 4+ years and had always unplugged it before. I believe that this has a fuse and the fuse blew because it overheated when it was out of the water.
Always put the heater in water before plugging in and unplug before removing from watee, even when you're transferring it to another cup of water. It gets red hot very quickly.
