Making up for absent power switches

So many appliances come without on/off switches these days (I'm looking at you, Instant Pot and Zojirushi bread maker). I really don't like the idea of plugging and unplugging the appliance all the time. These switches are a real lifesaver. You can leave the cord plugged in all the time and just flip the switch to turn the appliance on and off.

Just what I needed to turn off some individual devices plugged in to my media distribution setup. Kudos to the seller for first rate customer service. One of the 3 had something rattling around inside it. Didn't know if it was plastic or metal so rather than burn the house down I contacted the seller. Immediately refunded enough to buy an individual replacement unit (the singles are more expensive than the 3 pack). I went ahead and cut it open and was much relieved that I didn't use it as the piece bouncing around in it was a chunk of solder that could have shorted out, leading to disaster. I don't hold it against the seller and will buy more if I need them.

Does the job but I've found that the pressure necessary to hit the switch usually results in the plug being pushed out of the receptacle. So using this switch involves either:
- two hands; one to hold it in and the other to flip the switch
- or a two step process where I push the switch and then push the module back into the outlet.

Perfect for what I needed. I was able to have anther 3 prong plugged in under neath it and a 3 prong with a box plugged in this one. One light working with the light switch and the one with this was a ceiling light that I can now turn off with the on/off switch.
