4 starts , as would be great if mixer were stronger and the bowl were made with glass not plastic

Great item if you want feed your baby fresh food without all the added ingredients / chemicals in store bought items.

I absolutely love the Baby Brazza. I use it every day in order to prepare solids for my twins. It is incredibly easy...you slice the food and you can choose to blend, steam and blend, or just steam the food. The blending option creates wonderful purées and I love that I am feeding my babies all natural foods that I make myself. The only drawback is you have to hold down the blend button for that option alone to work. I also want to add that clean up is a breeze. Money well spent. Also after steaming there appears to be a pressureized locking system which means that you will have to wait until the food cools down after steaming in order to open the lid. This is not mentioned in the users manuel.

This is a set and forget (til you put the food in containers) little appliance. It takes away the time and hassle of having to boil or steam foods before putting them in your regular processor or blender. I like being able to throw some veggies in there, set it, and then clean up the kitchen while the baby's food for the next day is being prepared with virtually no effort from me. I don't have to constantly watch and check it, although it took me a while to really "trust" it and just set it and walk away. I am the type of person who watches the washer run for the first few minutes too, just to make sure everything is ok of course lol. So, now that I am used to it and know what to expect, I just put the food and water in and then let it do its thing while I get other stuff done. At first I didn't like the idea of smaller batches instead of larger amounts that I could do in my Ninja, but this way here seems to work out a lot better. There's much less wasted food, if any at all, and the baby has fresh made food every day rather than a larger batch to last a few days at a time. I like it better with the daily supply. It just feels good to do that and know it's fresh. And if I ever want to make a larger batch of something, I can still do that in my Ninja and freeze it to store it, or run this several times. The little pouches are cute and hold just enough. The lcd display is nice and it is really easy to operate overall. If you dont want it to process the food for you or if you want a specific consistency, you can just set it to steam and then pulse it to get the texture you want. That is another nice thing especially when it's time to start transitioning to more solid foods etc. You can customize it and see what works best for the baby and make is especially for him. I don't put it in the dishwasher. I assume at some point I will, but I tend to "baby" new appliances, pots, pans, etc for a while when they're new. After they're a little beat up from being used heavily I'll give a go in the dishwasher and see how they hold up. So far I haven't felt like I wanted to do that with this, plus it's so easy to clean anyway. Basically just rinse with hot soapy water and dry with a towel or air dry. This is one of my new favorite things. Anything that works well and saves time is great. This is one of those things. I love not having to supervise it and that I can get other housework done, play with the baby, have bath time etc and the food is all done and ready to be put into containers.

The Baby Brezza Food maker is a wonderful idea and a time and money saver. It is very easy to use and the included instructions are clear and easy to understand. Just cut up fresh food into small pieces (as indicated in the instructions) and select one of 3 settings: steam only, puree only, or team & auto puree. If using the auto puree mode, you just put the raw food into the processor bowl, let it cook and when it is done steaming, the machine will automatically puree the food. The consistency is silky smooth, just like bottled baby food. The included pouches are dishwasher safe and reusable. Additional bags can also be purchased.

Cooking baby food in this machine saves a lot of money over buying baby food at the store and you can be certain what is going into it. It cooks and purees the food quickly and without a lot of attention. I wish I'd had this for my own children, but glad I can use it with my grandchildren.
