This egg making device is super simple and quick! I usually cook a large egg for about 45 seconds in the microwave in this. The only thing I noticed is that it starts to make popping noises if the egg is already cooked and it tends to shake the lid open"¦which causes for the egg bits to fly everywhere in the microwave so be careful of that! I would say to see how long it takes to cook your egg and adjust the time accordingly otherwise you'll end up with egg splattered everywhere.
Also be careful when opening the lid once you remove it from the microwave since the air trapped inside the egg maker is hot.

I was skeptical to buy this product, but based off reviews, and price, I thought, why not? When it arrived, I laughed out loud, it is so small!! However, that being said, it will make three scrambled eggs in a little over a minute, they taste good, and it is easily washable. If you only want a few eggs, and you are like me, your microwave is the most used appliance in the kitchen, beside the refrigerator, then go ahead and push that buy button, you won't be disappointed.

This is a good egg cooker for the microwave. One of the things they don't tell you (perhaps it is obvious) is that you should begin with a small amount of oil. I rub it all around the lower portion. Second, I think that it may work better if you stab the yolk with a toothpick. Third, you should experiment with timing the microwave. It appears that the time in MY microwave is 27 seconds. This should also vary with any inclusions like cheese, bacon bits, or whatever. Fourth, I clean the unit by putting a dab of soap and some water in it. Then I close the unit and shake it. Rinse it and put it in the dish drainer. The whole idea here is that the whole operation from start to finish is fast.

I hoped to use this for poached eggs. IMHO it is not good for that. To get the white and yolk cooked to the correct consistency is impossible. I was about to give this one star when I thought I'd try a two egg omelette. My option soon changed. Two eggs at 75 seconds with a little grated cheese and seasoning came out perfectly. I won't use for poached eggs, but for quick easy omelets it's great.
