seems cheap, hardly any electronics in the space - but works like a charm. I put in a 4TB Video rated hard drive and system has been rock solid. Easy to setup and easy to get remote access to via phone or tablet. Uses cloud based relay to allow access without making changes to your personal or business firewall. (if you are an experienced user you can setup the way you want with port pass-throughs) Has a lot of features with the option of 16 BNC Camera and 4 IP cameras (20 spots in all)

Excellent picture quality and ease of use. remote app is excellent for viewing anytime. Took one star off because occasionally unit repowers and shows quick setup with multiple horizontal lines. I just turn power to cameras off and back on and remedies the situation

Very nice DVR, lots of options. I have the older style video and PTZ cameras and things are working great. It looks like the DVR has an option to monitor IP type camera also, but haven't tried that yet. The technical support folks are helpful and will even set up your DVR and router ports on your computer. The tech phone line is pretty busy so you usually have to leave a number and get a callback. Email is probably more efficient for both parties. :-)

No support from company in China.....cannot see on network for supposed IP viewing of cameras remotely. They send remote connection instructions but it doesn't work!
