Perfect for my needs! Easy to install. Stays on even if toddler tries to open the door. Cat can still get to his litter box! Win win!! Definitely use the door stopper to protect little fingers. Worth the money!

I was so hopeful that this would solve our problem and help us from constantly having to scold our child for going into the laundry room where the cat box is and playing in it. While it has seemed to work a deterrent most of the time and certainly slows our toddler down, we have a fat cat and in order for our kitty to get to his box we have to leave enough slack in the strap for him to squeeze through which is nearly identical to the amount of space our toddler needs to wiggle IN! Again, I think the item is genius and in most circumstances will probably work and it does for the most part with us but it did take some trouble shooting to find that "happy medium".

Does it's job! This is my second Door Buddy. The hook mechanism of the first one broke off, which wasn't too shocking since it is plastic and anything in my house is eventually going to break. When I removed the broken piece to replace it there was zero damage to my wood trim! I love not having to worry about babies and dogs getting into the litter box! The "U" shaped piece makes it so I don't have to worry about the door getting shut due to air currents and then having a kitty not able to get to the potty!

Installed two of these to allow for cat access to basement for litter boxes. The basement door is behind garage door and this ensures the door stays open but only open so far. A second set is installed on the door in the basement to the litter boxes. Quick and easy to install. Simple concept but seriously a life saver.
If Only I Found this years ago...

Any pet parent knows- who has cats AND dogs- how difficult it is to keep cat food away from dogs as well as litter boxes. This amazing product literally has solved all of my problems. Thank you!!
