First off, If the box or bag is damaged take pictures and have the UPS delivery person take pictures.

The box was destroyed and the bag covering it had multiple holes. The handles tore through the bag in multiple places.

The collars fell out during shipment. Seller sending replacement collar with no hassle!

It's nice when a seller stands behind their product!

Careful with the collars, they do have a tendency to unscrew and do not lock in place.

Weights are evenly balanced. Since they are not cast iron, I am guessing they are cement filled.

Of course it's not the same quality as some of the ones that cost $200 but these are great for working out at home when I don't have time to go to the gym.

Using a universal kettleball barbell handle and universal barbell extension with it and both fit fine.

Needed another set of dumbbells to intensify my at home workouts. Also wanted something that wouldn't damage my floors if I accidently dropped one. These meet the bill.

Honestly, this is a really good set for the money. I'm a beginner with lifting weights, and prefer to workout at home but don't have space to create a home gym or get any other larger equipment, so I decided to get these adjustable dumbbells. They are bit more of an "old school" style compared to other adjustable sets that I've seen, but I wanted something that is sturdy and will last. The first set I got, one of the hand bars was cut in such a way that the end pieces that screw on to hold the weights onto the bar couldn't go over the end because there was a little lip in the groove. So I contacted the seller and they were honestly amazing to work with. Fast responses and worked with me on getting it resolved, and always very courteous. They offered to send a replacement piece, but when they tried to order it from their warehouse it was out of stock, so they sent me a whole new set, let me take the replacement piece I needed, and then arranged for UPS to pick up the remaining from my house because the package itself is over 60 lbs., and I can't lift that box and lug to a return store (UPS/Kohl's Amazon return etc.).

The only critique I have about the product itself, and I think someone else mentioned this in their review, is that the hand bars are a little long, so doing certain moves can be a little awkward. Other than that, it's a solid set, and I would recommend it for sure!

The only problem with these is that to get to a higher weight you have to load them on and they get far out enough to limit some exercises, it's not too bad, and it's just the nature of this kind of product not this specific one, because the bars need to be so long to accept all 8 at a time. Still a good set though, mine have both imperial and metric - listed one on each side of every weight. I'm not sure what some people are saying that they only have metric, or only have imperial. either they've updated these to have both, or they are simply not flipping them over to check lol.
