I think the quality is what you can expect for this price, nothing broken, looks like longevity
I have this set since I think around 2 months and I love it! It's easily to store, easy to adjust, compact, the quality is good enough for a home gym - and the price was affordable!
I'm working out 4x a week and this does the trick for a compact home workout with little storage space. Mostly working with the barbell weights for RDLs, Good Mornings & rows (I'm creative and lifting from placing the barbell on high chairs - works for me ;))
Don't recommend if you:
- want the super duper deluxe gym look. & feel (d'oh! Go pay the price ;))
- want to add on even further weights and this is close to you already maxing out
- expect anything different than displayed on the pictures or described

Inexpensive plastic weight set, nuts can be tedious

My set did not come greasy or dirty as some other reviewers noted. This is a plastic weight set and as such it is a bit bulky but the benefits are that the plastic is less damaging to your floor and quieter. The dumbbell bars are not solid. The screw thread for the nuts is not deep and the nuts do not spin freely. So, unlike a higher end set where the bar is solid and the heavy nuts spin on until they hit the weight, these have to be hand turned the whole way down which makes changing the weights a bit of a pain. I think that is my biggest gripe with the set. Seems they could have made a better nut for these. Potentially a button that retracts the thread so they can slip on and then hand tighten. If you are going to set and forget these they are fine but if you are going to change the weights as you go through your routine they are going to be frustratingly slow.

These weights are quality made. The bar itself isn't heavy. It's comfortable to hold. It's all easy to assemble (changing out weights, disassembling, etc.). There's 4, 5.5 lb, 4, 4.4 lb and 4, 2.2 lb weights. I like that the weights aren't round so they can't roll around.
