I had a Kemper that I sold after one year, HeadRush solved the mystery of having an easy to use pedal board while still keeping excellent built quality with attractive interface, the touch screen is a joy to look at and works beautifully.
I haven't tried after market IRs yet but looking forward to, the reason why I removed one star is due to limited number of available amps, also effects can be improved, I am sure the next firmware update will resolve this and I will give 5 stars once I test and confirm however till now it's like 4.5 stars to me, out of the box it's ready to play and I rarely looked at the manual, make sure to join the fb group as well, they are all very friendly and helpful.
This is a great piece of hardware which I am still excited to play, yes the Kemper can produce tones that are closer to real tube amps but you have to purshare those patches and also alot of tweaking which I don't like and it's way less fun to use compared to HR, Helix might have more options and better effects but the amps doesn't sound as good as HR as well from the reviews I've read and demos on YouTube.

Love it!!! It that extremely well it's job and it really makes playing in small areas a walk in the park not having to worry about volume issues and unwanted feedback. The FX area again amazing, very High quality FX... this is a must buy!
Great Amp Modelling Tech

This is a great piece of technology for us music lovers! Amp modelling is way better then any Boss product and Axe FX first generation. Off course an improved version of Eleven Rack. There is nothing to say about amps but there is a little bit more to go on effect sides which I think is not a huge issue as they keep the pedalboard updated, octave effect is missing for now, I hope they will add soon!

Great piece of gear. Simple to use and sounds excellent. Good bye back breaking amps. Getting to old to lug that stuff around anymore. Just get a nice pair of lightweight speakers or straight into the club PA. Very good purchase.

This thing is much easier to use and much more versatile than the Kempler or AXE FX modelers...especially for performance... It doesn't have the depth of tweakability of the Kempler or AXE, but you can make up for it by learning to create your own custom Impulse responses (IRs)... I absolutely hated the interfaces, menu diving, learning curves, work-arounds, and all the unnecessary parameters of the Kempler and AXE... The Headrush did away with all of that bologne... I am mostly using it as a sound creation control center off the ground right next to me as I play comfortably on my sofa... I have all my Strymon pedals set up on the Headrush's FX loop with a midi foot switch contolling the different combination presets that I created... I'm absolutely loving how fast and easy it's allowing me to create on the fly... Go demo one and see for yourself...
