Many different sellers were offering this particular style mirror, so after some reading of reviews I picked a mid-priced one. I ordered on a Friday and it came the next Monday, so I was quite pleased with the delivery. It was very securely packaged. I had read many reviews about the lights not working or not dimming, its not being large enough, and the base not coming apart from the mirror once they are plugged together. When I opened it, I connected the mirror and base together, and plugged it in. I noticed it didn't go in very far, and when I turned on the light - nothing! I had to really push the phone charger end into the back of the mirror to make it connect. Then, the lights came on and were very bright. The black rocker switch on the back of the mirror must be turned on too. The lights dim when you touch and hold the round circle on the mirror. The size seemed okay. It's just large enough to see your face and not much else. If you wiggle the mirror a little and carefully work it out of the base, it will come apart.

I have been wanting an individual vanity light forever to use for close-ups. I finally decided on this one and bought it on Prime Day. It came shipped super well and protected, wrapped in hard bubble wrap and boxed.
It comes with a USB cable for power or you can use batteries. I chose to use the batteries and would agree with the others that the light isn't super super bright, but it's what I expected from a battery. I also never planned on using this as my only light source. I have a full vanity mirror and light on my actual vanity.
The mirror itself is a nice size and easy to use. I use the magnified mirrors on the side often. The entire footprint of this mirror is small thanks to it being able to fold up. I chose the rose gold color. It's definitely a pearly pink. I love the color. Very girly.
Basically, I love this mirror, would recommend it and buy it again!

Plug broke

After having it a month the port to plug it in broke and it rattling around inside and you can get to it, so the lights don't work anymore. I bought one similar before this one and haven't had any trouble. Would like to replace this one.
The company reached out and replaced the mirror. Way to go over and beyond customer service. My only complant is the location of the plug, being at the botton of the mirror which causes the cord to bend and as we all know these type of cords(like cellphone cords)tend to short out easy. I told my daughter to try and not unplug it too much so it doesn't short out, if weren't for that I would give it 5 stars.

I had previously rated this product and given it a 1 star review, but felt the need to change it. When I initially received my mirror, the lighting portion of it didn't work so I was very disappointed of course. I emailed the seller to let them know about this issue. They responded to me very quickly and apologized about the product being defective. They immediately sent me another mirror at no cost to me and it was delivered to my house within 2 or 3 days. This one works and I'm extremely happy with it! The lighting is a LOT brighter than I thought it would be (in a good way) and I couldn't be more happy with the purchase. I'd highly recommend this to anyone looking, and also have to comment about how awesome their customer service is as well!

This mirror is so so amazing. I am a make up artist and do my own make up literally every day and not always in the comfort of my vanity. This mirror is really easy to fit in my bag and take with me wherever I go so I always have the best lighting. I would give it 5 stars except for 2 reasons. Those reasons being: the lights aren't as bright when using batteries (you get the most light when plugged in) and the cord is not very long so you have to work real close to an outlet. I've solved this last issue by just carrying an extension cord with me when I take the mirror. It's an extra step but for my it doesn't bug me too much because like I said, the lighting and magnification are too good.
