2 types of LED light

Longest reach of all I looked at that also has 2 types of LEDs that were adjustable for both yellow and white. It is made in the USA. The adjustable led's are great for sewing as different materials need different lighting and white is great for reading extremely small print and threading needles. Has an option to buy extra clamps so I just move the light and leave the clamp to another room. Magnifying glass is not to small like others I have looked at.

This is one slick light! I thought I just needed a good lighted magnifier for my work bench, one that I could easily fold away when not being used. What I got was so much more! The light can easily adjust in both brightness and color temperature with easy to use and clearly marked touch controls on the top of the light. It has a convenient cover that keeps dust off of the glass when not in use. The adjustable arm feels solid and stable and doesn't sag. I love this light!

When I saw the size of the box this thing was delivered in, I was quite surprised. I guess I didn't look that closely at the product specs before I bought it, because I was expecting it to be a lot smaller than it is. For me, that was a pleasant surprise.
I had bought this to replace a similar, battery-operated desktop magnifier lamp that I was dissatisfied with and returned to Amazon. This light is a vast improvement in every way. My only complaint is with the capacative brightness and color temp buttons - they're very sensitive and located right where I would put my hand to adjust the position of the light, so every time I want to move it I accidentally change the settings. All in all though, it's a minor annoyance on a great product.

Great lamp, the only thing is that it is mainly for a desk and I really wanted to use on my massage bed. My husband will have to modify things around so it will lock on the bed. Another concern is with the hole on the base where you connect the lamp, if the person laying on the bed for any reason decides to sit and forget that the lamp is there, it will probably fall (the lamp) because has no lock sistem (it is like a stick on a hole and nothing to really lock that stick there).
I'm a permanent makeup artist and I need a lamp that it is easy to transport and can fit in a massage bed so it can give me a good light. I still gave a 5 stars because the lamp and magnifying glass are really good.

Great tone-control system

My eyesight isn't what it was, and yet I'm embarking on a project to build Renaissance and Baroque lutes, and needed something to help me with cutting and carving the roses in the lute belly, a painstaking process that requires a steady hand and little room for error.
I was concerned the magnification wouldn't be adequate, but no worries on that account. I can see everything clear as day.
And speaking of "day," my wife asked, when it was delivered, if it was an "Ottlite." I told her "no, but it DOES have a highly variable control system for "light tone," consisting of increasing or decreasing the amount of "red" and "white" light emitted by the LEDs, giving you a lot of control over the appearance under the lamp.
In fact, I prefer that to the Ottlite system, which is supposed to be close to "natural light," but that's all you get: their setting.
This system is preferable, in my opinion.
Highly recommended.
