Very good deal good price

This is really good! My eyes are somewhere between a 1.5 and 2.5 for reading glasses and this magnifier works better than trying to get those glasses just right. Plus the lights are great. It is light weight so moving it up and down on an 8½ x 6 book page works well. I'm glad I got the 3.0 mag.

I have had several eye procedures on both eyes and my vision is not as clear as it once was. Reading smaller print causes eye strain after a certain amount of time; however, this magnifier is the solution! The print is the perfect size for me (not too large or too small). The only wish I had was to not have to hold the magnifer while reading, but no biggie...I just figured out a way to position/prop the magnifier on whatever I'm reading and the issue was resolved.

I bought this product to enlarge print. This product does that. I'm disappointed with the battery cover and plan to put a piece of tape on it. It will not click closed. I appreciate the drawstring cover but it seems to me a plastic sleeve or more rigid cover would be more practical. Overall I like it and would recommend.

I was looking for a lighted magnifier to use when doing embroidery/cross stitch. I wanted it to be easily portable and I didn't want it to be worn on my head. So I bought one at a local craft store that hangs around your neck and rests on your chest. The problem is that the led light was in a horrible position so that when you were stitching your hand was casting a shadow the exact spot you were trying to see!
So after lots of research I bought this one. I had to modify it so that it has a strap around my neck, but it's large enough that, when I orient it in portrait position, the bottom edge sits on my chest and I look through the top third at my work.
I modified it by doing two things. I used my 3d printer to make a couple of simple loops with flat bases that I glued to the magnifier frame. Then I used some rattail cord to make an adjustable strap that goes around my neck. It took about an hour including designing the loops and making the neck strap while they were printing. (I think the manufacturer should consider selling a kit that would accomplish this modification)
I love the size of the fresnel lens. I love that the light is adjustable and comes from all directions. I love its light weight. I only wish I had gotten the rechargeable version. I sit on the couch and use this a lot and I could have just kept it plugged in while I was working, avoiding the issue of the lights getting dimmer while using due to battery drainage.
