Just like Chinese made garments for USA humans, these seem to be sized for Chinese dogs. The size I purchased seems to be appropriate for my size dog, Velcro flaps meet in a reasonable place where you'd think they should. A size smaller or larger seems like it would be clearly wrong. But the leg holes are small and seem offset too far forward or rearward and don't coincide with the tail hole. It's not a big, floppy "diaper". It's more like some kind of "Sleek sexy G string for your dog". The ad copy seems to mirror that concept. My dog appears to hate it when I put the thing on her. She won't sit or lie down once the diaper is on. She literally stood against the wall for hours at bedtime instead of lying down. The nylon diaper is stiff and hard. Nothing at all like you'd think a diaper should be.
