I purchased the restoration cream after reading many reviews, now understand why it is so highly rated and recommended, I used it on a fairly new leather bag after it took a beating from daily use and it quickly restored its suppleness and rich sheen, I don't think I'll ever use anything else, the cream is fantastic and a little bit goes a long way.

Used on a leather sofa and chair, really improved the look and feel of the leather. Then detailed an 18 year old BMW with leather interior that hadn't ever been touched. The leather really soaked up the cream, so much so I wiped it down and applied another coat. Wiped that down after waiting an hour and the leather had a beautiful sheen to it and and regained some of the moist, supple feel it had lost.

It has the smell of turpentine, but don't panic, it dissipates pretty quickly. Recommend.

I ordered Skidmore's Restoration Cream because my leather sofa was beginning to look worn and dry. I am very pleased with the way it looks and feels after treatment with this product. It is soft again and the color is restored. I also used the cream on an old leather jacket and it looks so much better now. I would recommend this to others for their leather care needs.

I have an old leather couch, about 15 years old, and a bunch of cats. So you can imagine all the superficial scratches on this couch from cats jumping on it and jumping off it. I was looking for a product to cover the scratches when I found this on Amazon. I was having company over soon and was embarrassed by my couch's condition in daylight. This product transformed my couch and made it look many years younger! It was super easy to apply, smelled very nice, and brought out a beautiful luster in the leather. Most of the scratches disappeared upon application. I am very happy with this purchase and I highly recommend Skidmore's restoration cream.

This stuff is nothing short of FABULOUS! I purchased it for use on a very old, but very comfortable reclining leather chair which looked "extremely tired" and was potentially ready to be sent to the great furniture stack in the sky. The initial application of Skidmore's cream restored the chair to "surprisingly nice" status with all the dried and cracking leather now deeper and richer in color, and the cracks themselves no longer immediately evident. I then waited a week and rubbed in a second application. AMAZING! The leather became even deeper in color, the cracks now effectively disappeared, and the leather had a soft, supple feel similar to what it was like when it was new - almost 20 years ago. I decided to also try Skidmore's on a pair of old sailing shoes (my wife and I are avid sailors) that actually had what Nancy refers to as "tide lines" in the leather from repeated immersions in salt water. I was incredulous when a single application eliminated the tide lines, and restored my 3 year old sailing shoes to nearly new condition. My only regret is that I did not take "before & after" photos. I will NEVER be without Skidmore's again!
