I am a factory line sewist and this is the model I use at work. Will take some getting used to for the home sewist. Pedal is not like a normal machine, it operates the throttle, presser foot, and thread cutter. Only does straight stitch as far as I know. Very responsive back stitch. The thread cutting action is also a tacking stitch. When I go home to sew on my normal machines I feel like I might die there waiting to make it to the other end of my fabric because my home machine is so slow in comparison. This machine will have a learning curve even for veteran home sewist. Be prepared.
