*Updated* - Not as good as my previous pillow but great customer service!
Spartygirl✓ Verified Purchase•December 23, 2023
Update: The company reached out to me regarding my concerns and has offered me a replacement free of charge or to reimburse me the money I spent on the pillow. I have selected to receive a new pillow in hopes that it will be as good as the first one I had! I am giving 4 stars for good customer service and standing behind their product but not 5 stars yet as I haven't tried the new pillow!
This is my second one of these pillows, I loved my first one so much I bought I new one! Only thing is, this one hasn't seemed to hold up as well as my first one. This one is less than 6 months old and has two separate areas where the filling has separated and is virtually gone in these two areas. This did happen to one area on my last pillow but that pillow was several years old before that occurred. I still like the pillow but it is disappointing to spend $100+ and have it break down in less than 6 months.

Bought a second after five years

This pillow is amazing. It completely changed the way I slept for the better, and feels like a pillow nest. It was still comfortable five years later, and I replaced it not because it was breaking down, but because it got sprayed with pesticide (that's a whole expensive and dumb mess of a story I'd rather not get into).
Only thing I will say though is DO NOT get the whiter colored cotton blend. It's cheap and pills like crazy. The 100% cotton cover is 100% more comfortable and nicer looking even if it is off-white.

Great for recovering from hip surgery

I was looking for some kind of support pillow because i tore a ligament in my hip and had chronic hip pain. I could never get a good nights sleep because of the pain. I saw that a few people raved about this pillow and I decided to buy it 3 weeks before my hip surgery.
Before surgery, I was able to sleep a little better during the night with this pillow. Post surgery, OMG i love this pillow. It is amazing and I can use it so many ways to get comfortable and take the pressure off my hip. I read the other comments about the seam in the pillow not being comfy in the top part of the U. While i can somewhat agree with that, there is so many other options with this pillow.
I can not sleep without down pillows. So i already new that sleep on the round part for me wasn't an option.
Here's how I make the most out of this pillow. I sleep with it in a U shape instead of a n shape. The round part is at the bottom so that I can put my down pillows between the two straight parts. It works great this way. Then if i need more support under my knee i bend one of the sides under my knee to make an excellent leg propping pillow. Since my incisions are on my right hip I mostly sleep on my left side or back and have absolutely no problem rolling over even with the round part at the bottom. I am 5'6'' and so sleeping this way the length and turning isn't a problem. I slightly bend my knees and sleep with my feet on the bottom of the U or off the edge onto the bed.
I do agree that I wish I could have a normal pillow case for this in satin, jersey or some other kind of material. I'm going to ask a friend with a sowing machine to make one as it wont be too hard.
To the seller (maker of this pillow), if you were to make really nice pillow cases to go with this pillow i'm sure you'd sell a ton! I for one would by one in a soft great fabric!
Also people complained about the material being too warm. Yes, I can see that, but I live in seattle and right now its 30 degrees and raining. The warmth of the pillow is keeping me from freezing at night. I could see it being an issue during the summer. Again though, another type of fabric over the pillow (making your own case) will solve this problem.
I absolutely love this pillow and its making my recovery from surgery much more manageable.
I can't give you feedback about using it while pregnant, but if your goal is to take pressure off your hips and joints then this is a great option!
Love it!!!!

Expecting Moms Will Love It, Dads Looking to Cuddle—Not So Much

Had this pillow for a solid year and a half, and let me tell ya, it's my wife's new best friend. She used it all through her pregnancy and hasn't stopped. The synthetic down? Legit. Still as fluffy as the day we got it. Washed the cover multiple times, and it's held up like a champ.
Now, as for me, it's a bit of a love-hate relationship. My wife's all comfy and supported, which is great, but try cuddling with her around this giant U-shaped barricade. Spoiler: you can't.
So, if you're a mom-to-be looking for sleep support, this is a game changer. Dads, you've been warned.

FINALLY, AN ANSWER FOR SEVERE CHRONIC PAIN SUFFERERS!!!
Litt'ld✓ Verified Purchase•November 23, 2023
Dr. recommended I purchase a body pillow to manage my chronic pain so I can sleep. I suffer from Fibromyalgia, TMJ, Degenerative Disk Disease, Osteo Arthritis, Bursitis in arms & hips, & Hypersomnia. I decided to purchase the Comfort U when I learned a nurse who has Fibro designed it & because of the great reviews. Most of all, though, because of the warranty and that it's backed by Amazon because I am skeptical of anything that makes such claims to help pain as well as this pillow claims to. (My memory foam mattress pad & pillows don't even help very well!)
Though I'm petite, 4'11', I chose the full-size pillow & am glad I did because it covers my entire body from head to toe. It is HUGE & takes up 1/2 of my Queensize bed, but I don't know if it would be too much or my hubby because he can't sleep w/me because I roll around too much & only get into level 1 & 2 sleep w/22 arousals an hour. I also use the pillow while watching TV, etc. on the couch.
By the time I ordered this, I was in such an excruciating pain cycle that even adding additional pain meds to my regular daily ones were barely touching it. I was SO GLAD when the pillow arrived 4 days later!!!! It was exactly on time. It was nicely wrapped in plastic inside the box & the white cotton/poly pillowcase was folded nicely in it's own little bag. That was helpful because I ordered the blue, light fleece case because I wanted something soft, & warm that wouldn't get dirty easily.
The pillow is very well-made- no open seams or stuffing coming out. After a few days, the "legs" got a little floppy, but fluffing the pillow helped and it's supposed to be like a goose-down pillow, anyway. The top is more firm and stuffed. To put the pillowcase on, I recommend laying it out on the couch and placing the pillowcase over it, opening the zippers, and gradually stuffing it in as you zip it up. It was very easy to do. (There is about a foot of extra pillowcase material at the end of one of the sides, but I think it may shrink in the wash. To me, it doesn't affect the use of the pillow.)
After I got the pillowcase on, I positioned it on the couch and laid down on it, adjusted it a bit to be just right, and, INSTANTLY (honest- to- God truth!), I could feel my body starting to relax. All my pressure points felt supported and just melted into the pillow. My body was still a bit sore & tight, but I haven't felt that relaxed in years! Usually, I try not to stay in a certain position too long because I will get sore, but I was on this for hours at a time & my body just kept relaxing.
Then I took it to bed. I pulled the U together like a mini mattress & laid down on top & went to sleep. I slept for 3 hours straight & actually felt rested. I also got into REM sleep, which is also rare. The next couple of days were the same. I kept sleeping in 3 hour increments. I kept thinking it was longer periods of time because of how rested I felt. On the 5th night, I woke up after 3 hours, but then went back to sleep the rest of the night!!!
I went to have my bimonthly 2 hour massage ( didn't take the pillow) and was so relaxed that my body kept twitching as I was falling into a deep sleep. I haven't had a massage that's put me to sleep in about 2 yrs. My therapist kept checking to see if I was ok. I told her how great my new pillow was working.
I've been able to function so much better & hope that w/better sleep my mind will not be so foggy anymore. Last night I didn't sleep, but only because I had caffeine before bed (& probably because my body has had more rest in the last few days than it knows what to do with.
This is BY FAR the BEST pain relief I've received out of ALL the hundreds of products I've tried over the last 17yrs. Well-worth the $$$ & truly an answer to prayer!!!
