Doesn't work with certain IPhones
Great for the new Bluetooth I bought.
Star's Mom•August 12, 2018
This is the most up-to-date connector for the Hyundai. I had one with the old 30 pin connector, but couldn't use it anymore. You cannot get the Bluetooth that I used to connect to it anymore.
Since my car is a 2010, it doesn't have Bluetooth. I use this connector for the new Bluetooth Receiver/Transmitter I bought. This makes me "legally" able to use my phone. It also works great for GPS and Music or Audiobooks on my phone. Now everything goes through the radio, via the Aux button.
If you own a Hyundai or Kia, you need this connector for that kind of setup. Otherwise it doesn't work correctly.

Works to play music and/or charge the phone
Excellent. Pandora from My Cell Phone Through My 2009 Hyundai Sonata

Now I Get Pandora from my Samsung Cell Phone Through My 2009 Hyundai Sonata. Really wonderful. Have to crank the volume on the phone, then I can control the volume from my audio console. I have a Galaxy 7 Samsung cell phone. I think it would work with my tablet as well, but haven't tried. I think any connection issues are probably from the phone and car. The cord works.
