Some of it stays attached and some of it doesn't. I have regular windows that can be raised to open. The product stays on the top part of the window. Beautiful in the sunlight. The bottom part fell off. I washed All the windows before using. I tried wetting the bottom part of the window. Still fell off. I did it completely dry. Still fell off. Top part beautiful. Bottom part, plain window. I'm going to try tape.

I ordered this for my front door window for privacy and the pictures and description made it appear that it would do the trick. Not so much. It slightly distorts the image and makes it a little rainbow colored, but you can still easily see right in through the window at both late afternoon and evening light, especially when back lit from inside the house. Returned.
I put it on sliding glass doors so maybe it would have looked better on a smaller window

2 stars because it stayed up OK for a few months (but then started to come loose at edges) and it definitely obscures visibility through glass.

I had to throw this in the garbage! It's impossible to hang well. If you all ready have some be sure to drown the window in water for it to stick. Getting the clear film off once it actually sticks to the window is a joke, I had to tear it. Don't waste your money on this one.
