But after the first night she was so happy not to soak her bed
Kristan Paolacci✓ Verified PurchaseApril 17, 2018
We have a 6 year old granddaughter we still struggles with wetting the bed. This bed wetting alarm has really helped. We began using it a few weeks ago and it has been working. At first she was nervous and scared. But after the first night she was so happy not to soak her bed. The alarm gently wakes you at the first indication of moisture, so she is able to get up and get to the bathroom before soaking her bed. Now she attaches the alarm to her wrist and underwear all by herself. It is truly boosting her self esteem to wake up dry
Mom of a stubborn girl

Our daughter will be 7 in August. Her pediatrician insists that bed wetting is not a concern until children are mid-teenage years, like 15 or 16. But considering she wants to have sleep overs and go places it has become a personal problem... At least until recently. We purchased this alarm in February. At the time we had stopped wearing pull ups, thinking that at some point she would stop peeing the bed. That never worked. We would limit her drinks in the evening, put her to bed around 8pm, get her up around 11pm to go pee, and then she would almost always still have an accident. She slept so soundly that peeing in the bed didn't normally wake her up. I wasn't sure the alarm would wake her.

All of this being said the alarm did wake her. If it was placed correctly it would wake her so she could go to the potty to finish. The alarm started a habit for her. I am not sure if it was a habit to get up when she got the feeling, or to sleep through the night and then go(mostly because she doesn't remember if she gets up in the middle of the night) But she has been accident free for several weeks. The first week we got up almost every night... I thought it wasn't working. We did put pull ups back on her with the alarm, she wears underwear that the alarm hooks to... and pull ups over top... just so if she starts to pee, the sheets aren't wet and it isn't a "loss" for her. But I am telling you don't give up. We are now without the alarm. She is wearing pulls ups with her underwear just because we have soccer almost every night and there is a late night dinner or practice going on. So I don't want her to lose her confidence with wet bed sheets. But even with hot nights and late dinners and extra water in the evenings she has not had any wet nights. I would say with exception of the first week, in the last 52 days she has had less than 5 accidents. And the most recent one was a night that she decided to sneak a bottle of water to bed and two Popsicles bc she had a cough. And she has been taking benedryl bc of allergy season... I hope this helps moms of girls. There weren't a lot of girl reviews. It worked for my stubborn girl. Who although she was completely fine during the day... would rather sleep than get up to pee at night. Good Luck.

I bought this product wanting it to really work since we did not find a solution to the problem with my 10 year old son.
The quality of the device is good.
We started using it and when my son got wet the alarm started to sound but he could not even hear it because of his deep sleep. Every night of the first week was like this, so we began to lose hope. Anyway, we continue using it. My son the next morning did not even remember that during the night we had to change clothes and turn off the alarm.
The second week of use the alarm kept sounding because my son got wet, but he could wake up and realize that the device is ringing.
The third week everything was magical. Dry nights began to appear !!! By the fourth week of use, the dry nights outnumbered the wet ones. The fifth week was full of dry nights so we used it another week before removing it.
Currently the problem is solved and my son regained his self-esteem.
Do not hesitate to use it. My advice is to make a grid with the days of the week. We painted green on dry nights and red on wet nights. This helped us to visualize, along with my son, his progress and to bring to the conscious plane what happened during the night.
The first two weeks are discouraging but you do not have to give up, the results begin to be evident towards the third and fourth week. Good luck and strength. The results are well worth it.
Definitely works

My son is 8, and wets the bed nearly every night. I have tried no liquids after a certain time, making sure he goes to the bathroom before bed, etc. Even took him to a urologist to make sure he was okay medically. I figured I would give this product a try since it wasn't overly expensive and seemed to have many positive reviews. I can tell you, it definitely works. He has worn it for three nights so far and the alarm wakes him up the second it detects any moisture. He then gets up and uses the bathroom. No more pull-ups, no more changing the sheets daily. It doesn't bother him to sleep with it, and the alarm is loud enough to wake him (he is a deep sleeper), but not too loud that it scares him. I know he will eventually grow out of bedwetting, but this alarm will hopefully make it happen sooner rather than later. Based on well it is working, I believe it will.

It's almost like magic! My 6 year old was peeing at night every night. We tried everything...waking him up to go potty before we went to bed, we didn't give him any water after dinner, we offered incentives...but nothing worked. The worst part was that he was so frustrated! He started wearing this alarm and within 2 weeks he stopped peeing at night. What a relief!

The alarm is easy to use--my son was able to put it on and attach it by himself. The alarm is very loud, so it always woke him (us) up.
