this does not come with a pump... rather a straw for you to blow it up. This is laughable so fortunately I had a pump from another ball I could use. The quality is less than I expected, it feels as if the ball will rip along the very weak seam. Its also much bigger than I expected (the picture with a woman's hand appears to show a ball 30% smaller than the one I received. I inflated it to appropriate firmness (I teach a fitness class using small pilates balls so have pretty good judgement) and the circumference is a whopping 31 inches!
