I bought this antenna for my '17 Ram 1500 because I was tired of the car wash people remove my stock antenna before entering the car wash. FM stations seem to come in just as clear as with stock antenna, but AM stations are definitely degraded. Unfortunately, I usually listen to a local sports radio station on AM, so I don't know how long I'll stick with this. Installation was fairly easy, although none of the threaded adapters seemed to be an exact fit. I used the one that seemed to thread into my truck the best, and it seems like it's a pretty tight/stable fit.
