I never thought I would do so much research before buying a dishwasher magnet, but I read a surprising number of reviews before making my purchase. I also never thought I would say I "love" a dishwasher magnet, but here we are: I love this thing.
My decision to go with this option instead of the countless other dishwasher magnets available was largely based on the fact that it doesn't require removal to be changed from "Clean" to "Dirty" as it's got a spinning dial. What I was pleasantly surprised to find, however, is that the dial doesn't just spin around continuously, but rather "clicks" into place (I believe by use of the magnets) on each Clean/Dirty section, so it's incredibly easy to change it from one to the other without the need for a precision spin. Now, don't get me wrong, it would have been far from a deal-breaker without that feature, but for me that's what pushed this little gadget from being a helpful kitchen accessory to a Five-Star purchase.

It is easy to see and easy to switch from CLEAN to DIRTY. The only part that does not work with it is my family 😧. Now to train them to use it and things will be great!!

I love this product. I have been debating for some time whether to get one or not. I'm glad I decided to give it a go. The first thing the kids said to me is "are you giving us a hint!" I was sick of dirty dishes in the sink when the dishwasher was empty, just because they were too lazy to open the door and look. I have been using it a while now and yes occasionally I do get the odd dish in the sink, but nothing compared to what it was like previously. The only thing I would say is you have to make it become a habit, when you put it on turn it to green first and when emptying turn red then empty it. If you forget too often it won't be trusted and the dishes will end up in the sink again!
