I like that this is adjustable. As my baby grows, I can adjust the seat for her. I also like that there is a front facing position with this carrier. Having the waist band helps distribute the babies weight making it easier to carry her.
I like the extra head support for when she is napping protects her neck.
I do suggest watching some of the videos. They helped me set the carrier up correctly.
It is a shame I had to purchase the protective be teether individually. At this price it should come with it. This is the reason this is getting 4 instead of 5 stars.

My newborn baby (she is now almost two months old and around 9 or 10 pounds) and I love the new Ergo 360 OMNI as you don't need any additional pieces for newborn. Also, my baby's orthopedist loves it too and approves of baby girl's positioning in the OMNI even with her mild hip dysplagia. I wear my baby every where. I love the little privacy hood thats tucked away, I like to whip this out when I don't want people looking or touching her, it also works as a great crumb catcher when I'm eating! Baby wearing is essential with newborns, they always want to be held. This product makes it so easy and baby loves it! I cannot think of any reason not to like it.

I have used a lot of different carriers over the years as a nanny and this is by the far the best one ever made. Ergo baby is a great brand and this is their newest model of carriers.
