The original ones are much softer than these but I still like them. They fit just fine and looks like the original.

I was told that these ear cups would be equally as soft as the originals made by Bose. This is totally essential because these headphones are built to be worn for hours on end, and the ear cups have to be perfect otherwise they will cause headaches. The actual difference between the Bose earxups and the knockoffs is pretty hard to spot, but it's in the foam: the foam behind the leather in the Bose headphones is dark yellow, these ones are pretty white.
