We replaced our hot water tank heaters with a Rinnai tankless system. Then we got a new HE washer + dryer. Little did we know, HE washers and tankless heaters don't mix. You can't wash clothes in hot water, because the HE washer lets water in in little spurts. The water will never run long enough to get hot on a tankless system. This type of unit is the only workaround to get hot water into the washer. Seems to be high quality. Gets hot quick. Looks nice and takes up little space. We had our laundry room built very small to make better use of the space. This mounted nicely on the wall in a very small space. To avoid mistakes I made, it's best to add all couplings, hoses and the pressure valve to the unit first. It doesn't say it in the instructions, but make sure that pressure valve is on as tight as possible, or you'll be taking a shower like I did when you finish filling the tank. I'd also say use ample Teflon pipe seal on the threads if you add screw on couplings to get from 1/2 inch to 3/4 (which is standard for laundry) or they will also leak. The unit is heavy. Around 85 pounds filled with water, so make sure you're in a beam with at least a 3.5" heavy wood screw. Also, follow the instructions on how to fill the unit with water, but if you're wall mounting fill it up after mounting because it'll be heavy once full. Once hooked up, it does what it should without any fuss.

Great product. Better than original one that came in our camper. Hot water lasts a good while. I can actually enjoy my showers instead of rushing before I run out of hot water.

Actually keeps up very well put this in my RV works great

I put this hot water heater in my RV. I have my RV powered off of solar. And I have this thing turned all the way up currently. And me and my partner are able to get in the shower and take very long enjoyable showers with this heater. It is absolutely amazing that it does a better job than the propane heater used to. Obviously eventually it does run out of hot water but it is a very long and pleasurable shower. As long as it's plugged in it tries to keep up. When it's not plugged in it runs out in a decent amount of time for a very quick shower. I love this hot water heater and I would definitely highly recommend it!

Make sure you don't mistake this for an "on demand" water heater. It holds 6 gallons. If you use them you will have to wait while it heats more water. This little guy handles my two sinks and a dish washer with no problem. Very easy install however you may need adopters for water inlet and outlet. Check before installing. Great little unit that's energy efficient!
