The outside of the case is mostly fabric. Very little plastic. Nice size. Not too big but adequate for DVDs and covers. Only drawback is pages are permanent. They do not come out (like in a three ring binder) so think carefully how you want to organize. Not conducive to adding new DVDs except at the back of the binder.

This album is wonderful. A six-foot tall bookcase filled with DVDs stacked vertically is now empty. Plus, there is room for the liner notes. Be aware, as it fills up, the album understandably gets heavy. I would not recommend carrying it by the handle. Number the pages, create an Excel file, and finding the exact DVD you want it easy. I didn't realize how cluttered and unsightly the DVD cases were until they were out in the recycle bin. I have three of these albums that hide away on the storage shelf in the entertainment center. Money very well spent.

Bought two of these to place out movies in, would buy again. This has a nice little flap where you put the movies in the slots, that stops the movies from falling out. Really nice handle to carry. Had no issue with adding or removing the disc. Easy to page through to find something to watch. It is of course like having a large book, so of course it can be awkward to hold and flip through. However there is no issue if you have it on a table and are flipping pages. I give it 4 stars for one reason, the pages seem a little flimsy. Not flimsy in that I am worried about my disk or anything, but more of if you abuse it or your kids get rowdy with it when trying to find something it is going to rip potentially. However we are very please with it and had no issue with filling it up and closing it. Zipped right up.

I am super excited about my new dvd holder. I got it for my special needs son who loves to look through his DVDs to make a choice. He is not the gentlest person and I liked this case because it was sewed in and not a ring type case that could rip easily while he was flipping through choices. I love that I can have the paper sleeve of the dvd in so he can see both the cover and the dvd. It has made him (and me!) very happy to have everything in one place instead of DVDs and cases all over my floor. Thank you for making a great product! I would definitely recommend.
