The ONWAY Front handlebar bike basket stinks to high heaven. The Red Chinese obviously want to poison all Americans with their carcinogenic plastics! Nothing American ever stinks when it arrives. The smell is that "chemical smell" you detect at Northern Tool or Harbor Freight where they sell Chinese and North Korean items. Apparently the companies there like ONWAY get rid of their toxic waste by putting it into products bound for America. Otherwise, it seems to be a nice product. I'm hoping that a few months on the side porch will reduce the stench enough so I can use it.

1. CAREFUL -- the basket is spring-loaded!! I ended up smashing my fingers several times just trying to open it because I didn't realize it was spring-loaded until my fingers were trapped in various spots.
2. There are also NO instructions sent with this item. (Perhaps then I may have read that the basket was spring-loaded.)
3. The package/ item STINK TO HIGH HEAVEN! I've had my apartment windows open for several hours and I can still smell the gross smell. Awful.
4. More importantly, the basket does not "fit" my bike because the dimensions on the product page/description are wrong. When the basket hangs from the handlebars it touches the tire -- can't ride a bike while the basket it touching the tire, can we?
WOULD NOT RECOMMEND AT ALL! Only redeeming quality about this is the fact that it comes with a matching bag which is quite convenient -- just wish I could use the damn product!
