I went from a Corsair 570x to the Cougar Conquer because I have a custom loop water cooled system and the Corsair case has terrible airflow, so bad I usually removed the glass and screens to keep temps from climbing. I want quiet and cool, not the easiest combo so I needed a new case. The Conquer is practically an open air case with no filters so keep that in mind if you have dust, dirt or pet hair problems. I have a very clean room, and only blow out the radiators 1-2 times a month whether it needs it or not.

Likes"”Looks very impressive in person. Solid thick aluminum, glass has slight tint and does not block airflow. Supports 5 fans at 120mm each. You can install 2 radiators without a problem., 360 on top and 240 in front. With the glass off the chassis is wide open and super easy to work inside.

Dislikes"”only 2 spots for hard drives, the back of the motherboard has spots for 2 drives, but you must install before the motherboard. If your drive fails, you must remove the motherboard to remove the drives. The bracket for additional drives sits behind the front fans and blocks almost all airflow, there's a ton of unused space and placement for the HDD is obviously an after thought. Could have designed some mount cages or slotted adapters like almost every other premium case has...but no. $250 for a case that only comes with 3 fans and 3 grills so you'll want to buy 2 more and make sure they match because you can see all of them from every angle. You will probably need an extension for the power supply, the motherboard is angled and the power supply is near the front so it's a far stretch to the top of the motherboard and my Corsair Rm1000 was too short to reach. The case is heavy on the back of the motherboard side if you install 3.5" hard drives and place on carpet it tilts right. The case is not stable without the glass installed, the aluminum is thick but flexible.

After almost 3 weeks I am extremely happy with the case despite its flaws. It kept my system cooler than the Corsair 570x and looks impressive. I can see enormous modding potential, and although I would have designed areas or mounts a little different I really love the case.

First things first. I love this chassis and have zero regrets about this purchase. Was very easy to build in. Just be sure to follow the directions as given. I watched a couple of YouTube videos on assembly before I got mine. In order to familiarize myself with it. I will be painting it and installing a hardline watercooling loop soon as well. Seeing this thing in person is a real joy. And I am getting another one for a build for the family. If you decide to buy one. Just remember to follow the instructions. You can't just build the entire case and then install your components. There's a process that you have to follow. An easy process but necessary.
