Lost wifi and they said they will send out a new display. I'll update when/if they do
PeteB✓ Verified Purchase•February 16, 2024
This thing worked great for about 11 months then would not connect to wifi again. I'VE CONTACTED SUPPORT THROUGH their website and call them everyday and it goes to voicemail and says they will call back but they haven't yet.
I will update when I hear back.
Update:
I called the sales # instead of the technical service # on their website so I could reach someone. Once I did the lady asked what number I was calling and she gave me anther number to call. I reached someone immediately and in a few minutes received an email and in a few days received a replacement screen that works.
They need to change the number on their website......
The issue they are having with WIFI is known to them and they did an excellent job once I had the correct number.
In the end the product works great and we were extremely happy the customer service quickly got us a replacement. I will definitely continue to buy products from them because they backed their product and were extremely quick replacing it. Thank you!

Great addition for your weather station!

I like having separate devices for my weather system. The display is very bright and seems to respond quickly to the changes. The wind meter is perfect! I don't have it connected to the internet. I just wanted local information.
The display is working beautifully, it seems to be very accurate. I have several other remote sensors and it hears those as well so I see consistent info.
I didn't want to spend $300+ for a weather station. So my choice has worked out well. This has just the right amount of information without breaking the bank.

Great buy for the price point

Bought the La Crosse Technology V21-WTH unit about 3 weeks ago and it is working perfectly so far. Had some crazy weather for this area and all the functions reported properly. The accuracy of temp and humidity appears to be consistent. As compared to a separate wireless thermometer the readings pair consistently. Setup was a bit tricky getting the weather station to pair with my iPhone. Had to go to their web site for problem solving. Quickly found the fix and all good from there. The display has several brightness settings from off to high and clarity/readability are good. The anemometer is mounted @ 50 feet straight line of site from the base unit atop the rear fence. The temp/humidity sensor about 25 feet away protected by the patio cover. No signal issues as these sensors have much further range especially if unobstructed. Will take time to figure out how long the 2 size C batteries for the anemometer last before needing replacement. I've seen a post that suggests it's in the 3 month range but that was in some sub-zero weather.
Great LA CROSSE Weather Station with Wind, Temperature, & Humidity Sensors
Jim M.✓ Verified Purchase•January 23, 2024
I bought a reconditioned LA CROSSE Weather Station at about a 30% discount, and the previous purchaser had stuck a display-sized sticky note over the display with JUNK written on it with a wide-point marker. I realized why when I went to set up the station and couldn't focus my phone's camera on the tiny bar code so that it could be transmitted by the app to the manufacturer for registration and configuration. The bar code can only be imaged in an in-app live window, but because of the bar code's tiny size, the thinner lines weren't being detected.
I solved this problem by taking a zoomed-in photo with my phone, and forwarded the photo to another phone (a tablet or PC would also have worked). I then aimed the in-app imaging window at the much larger, zoomed-in photo of the barcode and bass-bing, bada-boom, it was readily recognized and submitted to the manufacturer. That allowed the station to be configured for my WiFi network and connect it to the provided on-line weather service.
I discovered that the remote temperature/humidity sensor (thermometer/hygrometer) and wind sensor (anemometer) each had their own tiny bar codes that, in the case of the wind sensor, had to also be imaged and submitted to the manufacturer in order for the wind sensor to connect to the station. Using the same technique enabled the station to display wind speeds, which wasn't happening when the batteries were first inserted into the station and then the wind sensor. Even after adding the sensor to the app account, I still had to remove power from the station to force a reset, but then the wind speed started being displayed.
The instructions for the unit didn't make these setup steps clear, so hopefully, this review will help others.
