Sounds clear and never cuts out. Sounds just a little different from the cell phone, but I wouldn't say it's a detriment. Very nice to hold; rubbery, not slippery, has some weight. The one button has a surprising amount of functions. I really wish there was a number pad, since for some of my calls I have to press 1 to really answer, but I haven't seen a bluetooth phone like this that has one, so I'm assuming that's not a viable option. I'd reccomend this one for sure.

in other words the receiver is upside down. It's like that old joke because people made this mistake in those times. Granted it works well but if you're buying it for nostalgia probably look elsewhere because it's not very well made and it's upside down and the was a good reason for this when the phone style was designed to cut down on noise.

Would be great to see a usb c generation or wireless charging

I bought this for my septagenarian parents who just got rid of their land line to help with the transition. It's very lightweight and fun. I think they are going to have a good laugh and hope they will find it useful. So far, they like it.

The price is low enough that I bought one for myself just for fun. Sound quality is okay. For $20, it is what it is. The echo some reviews mention seems to be worse if the volume us up too high. I didn't notice it when I turned it down a little.

What I love about it is that I can wash dishes while talking on the phone, holding it on my shoulder just like the old days. Lol. We used to have a desktop type phone with super long cords and I'd be all over the house with the phone.

My mom likes it because she can have it in her room at night, while her phone is downstairs. She said she can hear it ringing, but can't make it in time. Maybe she'll get used to (wearing and) looking at her smart watch finally for the caller ID.

It's only slightly annoying that the ear and mouth pieces are reversed from an old school phone, but not a huge deal. If you've used an old phone like this, it feels weird- like you're using it backwards but I'm sure you'll get used to it. Again, it's $20. If you've never used a phone like this, then it won't even phase you.

The thing that bugs me most is the charger. Which again, is fine, but would be nice if it were micro-usb or usb-c so I don't have to have a fourth kind of cable sitting around. Not the end of the world.

I brought this Bluetooth receiver for my Mother and my Aunt who are senior citizens and were having problems answering their mobile phone when it rang. It worked like a charm!

My Mother and Aunt were familiar with a receiver more so than swiping a phone left to right with their fingers. Also, other Bluetooth items did not work for them because it went in the ear and that was not comfortable for them. Once I paired the receive to the mobile phone (which was very easy to do) all they had to do was push the button on the receive to answer the call and push that same button to end the call. And to make a call was great as well because once they entered the number and the receive would automatically connect the call. The Bluetooth receive has a volume control on the side and comes in different colors. I recommend this Bluetooth receive for all seniors or anyone who are having problems answering their mobile/cell phones.
