This printer works great. This printer came with everything necessary to get started and is very easy to setup. My only complaint and it is minor is that the usb port is on the side of the box and not the front. I unboxed it assembled the few components that required installation the extruder fan being the most complex of the components. I leveled the bed and printed the demo shape and it came out great. I would suggest this printer to friends.
Just Amazing! You won’t regret it!

Such an amazing printer. I have had 4 qidi's and two of this model specifically and the reliability is literally 100x better than any MakerBot (I've had the Replicator, Replicator 5th Gen and the Z18) ALL the MakerBots had something fail within the first two months.
Pros :
1) Accurate - Can technically print up to .05mm if it is properly leveled.
2) Sturdy and very well built
3) Qidi Print Software is, again, hoards better than MakerBot. It is Cura with a custom skin and layout but much more user friendly. (Use Cubic Sub-diversion infill it's phenomenal)
4.) Pretty dang quiet all things considered. I would upgrade the motherboard fan though to something quieter since it runs constantly. I know a lot of people would say that's bad but I've done it on all my qidi's and even on large prints and for over 300 hours of prints on one printer and never had issues.
5) ABS is actually easy to print with
6.) OMG the build plate! It's magnetic so you can take it off, throw another print on right away and you don't have to mame yourself trying to remove a print with a razor since, let's be honest, those spatulas never really work.
7.) Toolkit Included is very nice, not just a couple of Allen Wrenches thrown in a baggy!
Cons:
Motherboard fan noise - I know, I know, I just said the noise was pretty good on this one and it is, while printing. Once the extruder fans turn off, the motherboard fan keeps going, constantly! That's why I said I would upgrade it.
All in all, this printer is one of the best if not THE best printer sub $1000 nay, $2000!

Amazing 3D Printer with the Best Customer Support
Mike S.•January 31, 2018
This is my second Qiditech 3D Printer and the X-Pro model is well worth the price. The X-Pro has some really nice features like;
"¢ 230x150x150 build volume
"¢ A removable magnetic build plate
"¢ Upgraded Turbo Fan for better cooling
"¢ Metal Frame with Enclosure
"¢ USB Thumb Drive Port for Printing Files (no more sd cards!)
"¢ Awesome Touch Screen and easy to navigate GUI
"¢ Free Qidi Slicing Software that's easy to use and preset.
For those who like to use Simplify3D or OctoPrint I can confirm that the X-Pro is compatible.
The X-Pro has strong metal frame and is fully enclosed which makes printing ABS really easy. The enclosure has magnets so it's easily removable for printing PLA.
Qiditech has the best customer support I have seen in my 10+ years of 3D printing which makes this a great 3d printer for anyone from beginner to advanced.

Easy to use and well built.

This is a great beginner 3D printer. It pretty much is plug and play, all you have to do is level the print bed and you are off. The customer service for this printer is very good as well, they respond within 24hrs and are very diligent in getting your problem solved. The magnetic print bed makes removal of prints effortless and the over build of the machine is sturdy and very clean. The Wifi is a great feature, but I just use exterior USB drive to load my prints. You can view the print before starting which is an added bonus.
There is an included tool kit, extra print head for soft material and extra extrusion heads. So you defiantly get a large value for your purchase. It comes almost fully assembled you just have to bolt the print heads in and attach the turbo fan shroud and you are good to go. You get a spool of ABS and PLA to start with and the print Software Qidi Print is easy to use and offers simple or complex modification of prints to produce the best print you can get.
It is a fully enclosed printer which works well for ABS and you can take the view panels and top off for printing with PLA. I haven't had any issues with this printer other than getting the Wifi to work and eventually I got it to work perfectly. The touch screen is very responsive and overall the controls are intuitive and easy to maneuver. The instruction manual is very comprehensive and you can be up and running in less than an hour.
Great printer, I defiantly recommend for the beginning printer and for the experienced.

Qidi is truly a good company and the Qidi Pro-X is a solid machine
Eric Fortin•January 10, 2018
Qidi is truly a good company and the Qidi Pro-X is a solid machine. It comes with a good chuck of extras, like an extra bed liner, a few extra nozzles, screws and a nice little toolbox. It also comes with an extra FLA head for flex filaments. It's my first printer and I bought this based on the feedback from the Qidi One-X(?) owners and the feedback on this listing by current owners. There was a small non-critical part broken during shipment, but Qidi support sent out a replacement piece (with extra goodies) and I received it in 3 days!! China to NY in 3 days... amazing!!
I can't really compare 3D printers since I'm new, but within 30 minutes I had the bed leveled and building the test block (10x10x20mm) it finished perfectly. I haven't used the slicer software that it comes with, but Simplify3D works great. If you buy Simplify3D around the time of this review, you may have to contact Simplify3D support to get the FFF (printer configuration file) that has all the recommended settings, but you can easily setup your own config file too.
Definitely a good machine.
