Great fountain! Cats love it.

I love this fountain. I have tried many different types of fountains over the years for my cats. My favorite is a ceramic but because it is open water, my youngest who just turned 2 and will probably always be a challenge lol, thought it was her bathtub and constantly had all the water on the floor instead of in the fountain. So needed one that was enclosed. I found this Honey Guaridan and they love it. I purchased it in April. It works great.
I only have a couple of issues. The pump is attached to the bowl so unsure what happens if it stops working. And because of the plug where the USB cord goes, you can't submerged in water to wash. And the water level lines aren't visible but I can almost feel one. But my cats all love it and I just ordered a second one for a different room.
I clean my fountain weekly and take apart the pump and clean with a qtip. I have learned over the years that cleaning weekly keeps pump working longer. Because I have 5 cats, I need to add water every couple of days. I also love that it stops if water levels get too low.

The pet fountain is great, pretty quiet and works as described. I was particularly interested in the smart mode where it only runs when it senses movement, and that worked great. I didn't try the mode where it cycles on and off, and I preferred smart mode to the constant running, but I checked and both work fine.
The other feature that makes this fountain innovative is that it should automatically stop running if the water level is too low for the pump, and signal this with a red indicator light. The fountain holds enough water that it took quite some time to confirm that this feature works! Perhaps this was thanks to the smart mode, and the fact that my cat has more than one water source, but the basin holds quite a decent amount of water. The auto shut off is great, and in combination with the red light to tell you to refill, this feature means that you really don't have to keep an eye on the water level at all.

Absolutely no noise. No motor noise, no water tinkling sound. My 7lb Pomeranian loves it. Theres a charcoal filter (comes with 3 total). Very easy to refill. Green ambient light when running all the time, or blue light when set to turn on when dog is near. There's no start-up noise to startle a skittish cat or dog.

This Pet Fountain is fantastic. Super quiet....the cat took to it right away. I love the fact that the water reservoir is round. Now if you have never had a pet fountain before, the square ones have the edges and corners that make it very difficult to get it clean. The round bowl is super easy and you can be sure that there is no bacteria left behind. I am super happy about this Water Fountain.

Best purchase ever! I adopted this little cat who is super afraid of everything. She seems to accept me and now she likes me but this was not overnight. She seemed to ONLY drink water from the toilet no matter what I did. I bugged one of my cat lover friends who buys a lot on Amazon to look for something. I didn't go with his top choice - because it looked high maintenance. I chose this item. After I purchased, I even went back to cancel because I thought the little cat was too afraid of everything. Amazon / seller was letting me cancel, but I decided to let it deliver and find out. As soon as I put it down while I was still reading the directions the little scardy cat was at the water! She LUVS it! When my son came home from college he said "I can see why she likes it - It looks so fresh I want to drink from it". So relieved I bought it. I don't know what's up with the other reviews about the buttons but I just let it run and I'm relieved to see her drink water.
