Buy extra replacement filters & clean once a week

It works ok, the drain holes are not as depicted. They are on the opposite side of the bowl. Which is ok, just makes them harder to keep clean. We have to clean the bowl once a week- we have two filter bowls and 3 cats. One is a big one- which works great. We clean that one bi-weekly.
I love the look of the bowl and think it is very cute. I think it could come with a few more filters. Or at least a link to get more filters on this page.
If the bowl appears to stop working- it probably just needs to be cleaned, or if it makes a loud noise. We noticed this and thought it was out of water. But when I took it apart I discovered- the filter was just clogged with dirt and dust. The engine was trying too hard. I take a Q-tip to the holes to keep them open, and take the motor apart and thoroughly clean it while taking the filter out and cleaning it.
Other Than that's it works pretty well. We like it. 😊

Fountain delivers better drinking water for my cat

This fountain, being made of ceramic, delivers better drinking water than the plastic one I had previously. And, it's pretty much a closed system so the little pump doesn't get clogged nearly as much as my other one did. Main thing is, my cat I bought it for is diabetic and loves to drink water, but she wants fresh poured water. She was constantly meowing at me to pour water into her other fountain. Now with this Lotus water fountain, she loves it. She can drink whenever she wants and doesn't need me to pour water for her. I do have to rinse it out every couple of days, but it's easy to handle and the pump, tho kinda hard to pull out, has a good filter that blocks out most hair and food particles that may find their way inside. My cat likes the stream of water and it's not noisy. Glad I bought it.

My cat loves to drink out of the sink and this was a great alternative. She does play with it once and a while but it's worth it. I would recommend reading the other comments about the filter. Doesn't make much noise either. I would make sure that you put a mat underneath It.

The media could not be loaded. It's beautiful esthetically, it's completely silent and sooo easy to set up. My only advice it to set it up and try it before pushing the speed button. The instructions say to automatically push the button to high speed so I did but then it wouldn't work when I turned it. Realized it was because it was already on high and I had turned it to super low so nothing was happening. I personally think high is too much because the water almost spills over the edge of the top bowl, so I put it on medium and that's what you see in the video.
It works great but its loud, if you cut the tubing half an inch its quiet ;)

It took a few weeks to ship but I was in no rush for this. It is exactly as the picture describes and doesn't splash water anywhere. Setting it up was easy and once I did it worked well but the fountain was just so loud my cat wouldn't go near it. I cut the tubing that was provided by about half an inch (make sure the tubing can still stabilize the flower top) and that reduced the noise by 80%, now I just hear the running water instead of a machine. The surface its on can also create noise, putting something like a towel under it is always a good idea incase of splashes and it absorbs the vibrations. I was iffy at first because the reviews were between good and bad, but it worked out. Not superior quality, but what cat fountain really is?
