This is a product I have waited for a long time to purchase until the quality and price were right. I have been a Home Theater Enthusiast for almost 30 years. And have had projection up until recently due to a home downsize. I bough the large and installed them to my 75" Samsung about three inches inward. It fit the top and and sides perfectly. No need for back lighting on the bottom due to my center channel and equipment racks. I am very impressed. Me and the wife love it. Greatly reduces eye strain and improves overall contrast. I should have not waited so long. Turns on & off via TV USB. The color is solid and consistent. I took one star off because the brightness on the dimmer does not work on my controller but that's not a deal breaker for me. I have it set where I want it and it stays at that brightness setting. We actually enjoy changing the colors from night to night. Anyone on the fence for one of these, just go for it. Highly recommended!!!

We have a 70" TV, and so I took to the task of not only trying to find a light strip that would be reliable and sturdy enough, but also one that would fit the large TV without looking awkward. In the photos, it shows that for a 70" TV, it will wrap around the left, top, and right sides of the TV, leaving the bottom empty. After much consideration, I decided to buy this product, and that it would be okay to leave the bottom-side unlit (or that we could purchase a shorter one to add later on, if we really wanted to light up the entire thing.

Here's our experience with this:

1. We opened up the box and found that the tightly packaged bag was nice and flat - the strip was a little tacky on the edges, so I carefully pulled it out of the bag and began to unravel it.
2. We grabbed each end and found the center, peeled off the backing from the center a little, cut off about a centimeter of the plastic backing, and stuck it to the center of the back of our TV.
3. Then, we were able to line it across both sides of the top, and down the left and right sides. The instructions show that you should fold down the corners on top of itself, and that was easy enough to do (and the strip feels sturdy enough that you don't have to worry about ruining it when you do this).
4. We got down to the bottom corners of the TV, only to find that there was quite a bit of the strip leftover. This is when I started to worry. There was a bunch left over, but not THAT much. We brought it across the bottom from each corner, only to find that there was about 1.5 feet of empty space in the center, on the bottom of the TV.
5. We stared at it for a while, sighed, shrugged our shoulders for a moment, and turned it on. "Hey, it doesn't look half bad!" we thought.

I did take off 1 star for the misleading measurements/description/illustrations. In the end, it's nothing that we'd lose sleep over, but it would have been nice to know exactly what we were getting, and we might just end up purchasing a different strip and adding that little bit to fill in the gap.

** A TIP FOR ANY POTENTIAL BUYERS:
I was worried about how the length of the strip itself, once attached to the TV, would work out, in terms of plugging it into the USB port. To be on the safe side, I decided to buy Sabrent 4-Port USB 2.0 Hub with Individual Power Switches and LEDs (HB-UMLS) with this strip, and I'm so glad that I did. Especially since the strip ended up finishing off towards the bottom center of the TV, the strip wasn't long enough to reach the USB port, and the USB hub ended up being not only a great extension cord, but also a great little on/off switch, if we choose to use that instead of the remote. We attached the hub with some 3M to the back of the TV, and voila! No cords, no mess, no worry!

So, I'm giving 3 stars because it works and the material feels well-made. It lights really well.
However, the lights often never turn on correctly and the remote hardly ever works. Since this is controlled by USB and has no switch, the only power activation is whatever you plug it in to. I've tried different power sources and the lights will still strobe/flicker when they first come on. I'll have to unplug them and plug them back in to change the "scene" to static on the remote or buttons on the light strip itself.

Pros:
-Looks good
-Material feels thick

Cons:
-remote is faulty
-lights strobe when turned on after being off
-because ^ above issue, scene changing sometimes won't work when strobbing after being off

lights randomly flash when tv is off and plugged into USB (even if the lights are switched off), it's freakin' annoying to see the flash from my living room (as if paparazzi were taking pictures of my living room in the middle of the night).
I tried to connect the usb to my samsung phone chargers, sadly the lights come on and never turn off, the remote doesn't work if they are directly plugged into my phone chargers.... so I have to deal with flickering lights through the night...

I wouldn't recommend buying to a friend. but they do look cool on my 75 when I "do" want to use them. The white looks between a light blue and a white (7500K color)

I purchased this in march of 2p17 and immediately installed it on my 65 inch tv. I loved the custom color feature and it definitely enhanced blacks when watching on low light conditions. However after a couple of weeks, when I turned the TV on, the lights flashed constsntly, and I was unable to stabilize them, using other the remote and the control on the light cord. I even pulled the USB and re-inserted, not trivial since I am using an inset connection on the back of the tv. Nothing worked. I wrote luminoodle directly, got no response, shrugged my shouldrs. I saw several similar products on prime day decided to plug this back in. It worked. And it continues to work through one or two power cycles, and then starts the flashing agsin. So far, if I ureset the usb, then use the central control to cycle through a couple of other colors, the next choice restores a steady solid light in my color choice. Still a pain, but a working pain. I can't recommend the product given the issues I have had, but I can recommend the concept. Shop around....
