Made lamp using son's fave liquor bottle for his bday. Easy to use, good instructions. Only problem was it does not fit in bottle neck snuggly enough, even after wrapping w/electrical tape. Think will try to have someone drill hole in bottle for me next time. Would buy again otherwise.

I have a vase I made in high school that I wanted to be more functional. Not really suited for flowers, I found this product and turned it into a lamp! I had to shave down the largest "plug" with a kitchen knife to get it to fit, but the neck of the vase is a nonstandard size. Works great, super easy to use. The lampshade I bought doesn't fit awfully well, but it works.

I purchased this kit to revive several vintage, stoneware bourbon jug lamps my dad put together many years ago. We did not drill the jugs. Using the prewired socket makes this really easy. The directions are simple to read, primarily pictures. I had a couple of lamps that were 3-way but I changed them to the single switch that toggles back and forth. It was easy to add the base for a new harp. I'm using them with regular LED bulbs. If you don't want the cord to go through the bottle and come out at the bottom, this is the way to go.
