The video quality is pretty good, but the software is complete garbage. The android app is very bad. The desktop app isn't much better. The documentation is very bad. The web interface doesn't work because it's an ActiveX app that isn't signed.
The iVSS windows app would be OK if I could drag it to another monitor, but for some stupid reason it seems to be locked to my center monitor. This is a huge problem for me. I truly hate this software.

This is a review of the dvr with the 8 cameras. The picture from the cameras is ok and the range is fine. The apps for the remote view for both the android and the iphone are complete garbage. We bought it as security and a nanny cam inside, and the app is completely worthless for viewing on your phone as it will crash and not work for up to a week even after restarting the phone several times. The app is 365secu hd and the horrible reviews from the app store are correct. I tried using another app and it didnt work, Im not sure if there is a way to download different software in the dvr to communicate with a different app. Also the dvr is incredibly slow when you try to open stored footage to replay it. It will lock up for a good 3 minutes per mouse click and make any sort of viewing impossible. So if you want to use this for remote viewing forget it. If you wanted to use it for live viewing only on a wired monitor i think you will be extremely frustrated if you ever want to go back and replay something. I am planning on getting a new dvr and using the same cameras since i already pulled all the wires through the attic. If i had to do it over I would either forget the whole thing or spend about twice as much on something better since we are no more secure with this unreliable product.

The Anlapus DVR system (1080P 8CH+4 1080p cameras with 1TB HDD) is very easy to setup, and the app is very user friendly and reliable in network connection. You can also control/set a motion alert, take an additional snapshot, recording, or play back a recording from the mobile phone. The DVR is a small and attractive enclosure with quiet system, it has a hybrid input function which is compatible with my original CCTV cameras. With an 8 channels input DVR, beside my cctv cameras, I can include 4 more cameras from the package with 1080p high definition resolution. Those 1080p cameras have a high quality picture that includes night vision and motion detector features. There are still more features that I need time to find out. I would say it is very worth to own it for this price.
