Went int easy, looks great

Not completely private even if lighting is correct. Had to put bathroom film on inside to completely blur, not he look we were going for but it had to be ok. I used it in my salon for a skin care suite. I tried film on front and back but had to remove (VERY DIFFICULT) and add the other. Perfect though for semi privacy.

This really works! I live on the ground floor and was sick of having to keep my blinds shut all the time to avoid people seeing in. I bought this, followed the instructions, and installed by myself in about 20 minutes per window. The difference it makes is incredible.

I really wanted privacy film that was inexpensive and easy to install and this was both. One roll covered both my room windows and I had plenty left over. I am not at all a home DIY person but after watching the manufacturer's how to video and a few others on YouTube I felt prepared for install. In the box came a squeegee and exacto knife. I purchased a spray bottle and baby shampoo for my mix at the local Dollar store (be generous with your spray and you will have no cling problems). I set to work on an overcast day and definitely finished in under an hour.

Miscellaneous Notes:
- I cleaned the heck out of my windows the day prior and again before install.
-My windows face south and they receive A LOT of sun and heat so I was worried about "thermal cracking" and south facing windows are a risk factor.
-My windows are also dual pane which is another risk factor for thermal cracks
-I leave my blinds and curtains completely open during the day to avoid trapping heat that can lead to thermal cracking
-yes the mirror image is reversed at night so if I need to look outside I just turn off my room lights if I hear a noise and need to look outside. This does the trick

So far so good. My film dried well and without bubbles. No cracks yet. Will update as needed

Here are some tips for install. Should only take you on average 8min a window. Pre cut for the window you are using. Lay film on some cardboard. Use something straight to cut a straight line. Long level works. Then spray window down with solution (mixture is given with instructions). Start with left corner and let the film fall into place. Then trim. If you try to move it to fit window you will never get bubbles out. Let the film lay into place and trim. This film is not static cling. It has a glue to it (longer life). So use a lot of solution. Good luck and enjoy your cooler room. Pictures are hard to judge. But, the room is much cooler and less light. This picture is the 5% film.
