It works good
Good quiet little chipper for little projects

Off the bat, as others have said its slow, and cumbersome trying to load anything but straight branch-less pieces of wood less than 1.7" or whatever it says it can do - fact is it still gets stuck all the time, and you are constantly working the forward and reverse to unclog it .
It's a lil' PITA is what it is, but if you have a few small trees and need to get the job done and treat it well and take your time it works quite well and its rather satisfying.

PROS: Its compact, its RELATIVELY QUIET (still loud), (huge for me in a neighborhood with houses packed together). When you get a rather straight branch in there it sucks it in all the way through and makes a nice mulch for the garden.
PS: I believe Bosch makes a similar type of chipper this is almost a clone of it from what i've seen on YouTube of the Bosch.

Never in my wildest dreams did I believe something this small and electrically (not gasoline) driven would do the work this does. Hats off to Sun Joe products. This is an excellent gardener's companion if you have a few small trees and bushes to keep pruned. It is powerful, Just be sure to cut the "Y"s off major branches and let the debris dry for a few days before grinding. When using it's best to rake the output chips away from the bottom shute. We tried bagging them off the machine, but the moment the bag is mostly full the bag will case the chipper to bind up. If you leave the bag off and pull debris away from the chute it will run all day long and grind most anything you feed it. GREAT TOOL... Excellent Value.
Almost Useless

I bought this directly from Sun Joe in order to shred dry leaves and smallish twigs.
PROS: It does actually chip small twigs and branches and did not stall out.
CONS: Everything else.
The input is absolutely tiny. You have to hand feed twigs and leaves almost one at a time. It take forever to do anything.
Leaves are not shredded at all. They go through almost entirely unscathed. They also get clogged in the output chute so you need to constantly hand clear it.
I returned this and fortunately Sun Joe gave me a return label for only $8. I really don't understand what purpose this thing serves. It's too small, slow and inneffective to do anything useful.
