As a breeder of red standard poodles, we use these blankets to imbue the scent of the mother to help comfort puppies when they go home to their forever families and they are perfect for this use. They are soft and a nice size. The material is a bit thin and may not stand up to many machine wash and dry cycles, but for our use and the price they are great.
