Small but works

Item is exactly as described. It's very small but works to get a fire going with small sticks and leaves even. The smallest or lightest pan is needed if you are going to use it for cooking but would be best used to make coffee or tea or heat up water for showers. Bought for my husband since its small and goes well in his backpack when hunting.
Returned - Top Way Too Wobbly

I did not light a fire in this product. I tested it by setting it up, and putting my camping pot on it. The top has absolutely no way to be remotely secured to the base. It slides all over the place. I'm sure that the stove functionally works; but if the top is not solid, I see it as dangerous. I have returned it and will get one that has better support.
Compact in size and works well.

This camp stove is awesome and very useful Especially, if you are looking to save space for a hiking/camping trip. It's pieces stack into one another and have a mesh bag to hold all the pieces. It has air holes built into it so if you are using it to cook or boil water the fire is able to draw in the oxygen. This can also be used for a survival/ emergency kit for a car. We keep one incase our car breaks down in a snowstorm. This stove is perfect because of its compact size and usefulness. We keep dryer lint in a bag for quick ignition. ;) My family also enjoyed roasting marshmallows with it and eating smores. I would caution that you have some thick gloves or tongs and etc. for after you are done using it and have to pack it up right away because it obviously gets hot after its used.

My boyfriend laughed when I pulled this out of the box and said it would function as a camp stove "“ he said it was way too small, and was something that was more geared towards backpacking survivalists than car campers like us. Little did he know he was about to be proven wrong! This little stove comes with a cross bracket that you just set on top of the stove, then you put your pan (or whatever you're cooking with) on top of the metal pieces, which allows the flame to reach the entire bottom of your pan. It does just need some kindling to light, and gives off a surprisingly powerful flame once it's going. This thing is tiny yet does the job of something much bigger "“ perfect for some car campers looking to save space!

It is nice and simple. Not a stove to use for cooking a large amount of food but nice for smaller needs. I would not set a pan on it but roasting marshmallows or hotdogs over. I like that is has a storage bag so I can keep it organized in the camping gear. I don't like that it didn't come with directions how to set it up, I had to go back and look on the photos on Amazon to figure out how to set it up.
