I could have build something similar from 2x4's, but after receiving this kit I'm really glad that I did not! It's really well made and designed. Goes up super quickly and easily, works great. I rarely write a product review but I was impressed enough but this that I felt I should.
The only thing I would note is that the directions said to drill 3/32" pilot holes. In my opinion 3/32" is way too small of a pilot hole for such a large lag screw/bolt. My 3/32" drill bit was not even long enough. I pre-drilled larger on my own judgement (I forget what size I chose) and it's working great.

Really impressed with the build quality. I bought two of the singles and mounted on either side of my garage near the door track. They work great to store my little giant ladder and 6' fiberglass ladder.
If your mounting in overhead of garage consider the extra clearance needed when the door curves in the track.
As another reviewer said the 3/32" pilot holes in the instructions are way too small in my opinion for the size of screw included so I sized up the pilot on the other bolts and it went in much easier.
