Lights came well packaged, everything had GVM logo on the box, nice touch. Lights give good lighting for my needs I use them for video production. I had a small issue with one of the power cords and contacted customer service. They were very nice and shipped a replacement very quickly I was very happy. Overall I enjoy the lights and have confidence GVM will help with any issue

I've been using these lights for about 2 months now. I was very hesitant at first because I've never heard of the brand. The color is spot on. It's very helpful if youre doing quick shoots on location. I can use the available lighting and match the temperature.

A lot of people complain about the stands and how flimsy they are. They are very lightweight. It's a video kit that's supposed to be very portable. At first I was disappointed that the stands could barely hold anything, but after a few shoots, I realized how useful they are. everything fits in the bag and is relatively lightweight. They fold up very small and hold the light just fine.

The diffusers are useful for interviews. You don't get those nasty hotspots LED's give. It just does dim the light quite a bit. It' still bright enough. There are two, one that slides into the light itself, and one that's bigger and mounts in front of the light. It broadens the through and makes for some great catch light.

Cons:
No battery meter, which is crazy in my opinion. I have no idea how much battery is left
The lights aren't very bright when using the diffusers
The barn doors are kind of a pain to get on and off
The case is sort of an after thought it seems. It does work, but I dont see it lasting more than a year

With a little velcro and some gaffers tape, you can make the barn doors easier to get on and use the velcro on the bigger filter instead of using the provided screws.

One of the stands I received was defective. I ended up contacting the manufacturer and they replaced it pretty quickly. I appreciate that and as long as they are willing to make it right, it's all good in my book. I did not receive a remote, which I am currently contacting them for one.

I would 100% buy this kit again. I find myself typically shooting at iso400-640 at f4 which is perfect.

I bought these lights to shoot interviews and video reviews in a 3-point lighting configuration. Let me go straight to the point; this is a great product, regardless of the price point and best of all, you get a lot for your money! 3 lights with stands come packed neatly in a custom made bag which fits everything very nicely. Apart from the lights and stands, the bag also contains light diffusers, power adapters and metal barn doors which need to be mounted onto the metal frames with screws before the first use. This process is rather time consuming because you need to mess around with tiny screws but luckily, you only need to do this the first time. I'm sure there's a better and simpler way to get the barn doors onto the outer frame of the lights. This can definitely be improved. Those barn doors are very useful though and work well.
I really like the intensity and colour temperature dials and LCD displays at the back of the LED panels if you want to have consistent quality of light across multiple takes, spanning over multiple shooting days. These LED panels are very bright and of course, completely cool so you will never sweat under those. I was able to take great stills and videos of people with panels set at 70% power, 10 feet away from the subject. White balance was precise and I didn't have to correct anything in post. This is a big deal.
These panels an be powered with Sony batteries or with an AC adapter so that's great for studio or field work.
The stands are useful and save you the hassle of finding the right ones. The construction of the telescopic tube is reliable and solid but the spreader legs could be firmer. They aren't tube extrusions, instead, the manufacturer opted for sandwiched metal strips which flex and aren't very reassuring when you try to bend them. Luckily, the panels aren't heavy so the rigidity of the spreader legs isn't an issue, though I'd recommend a sandbag if you plan to extend the stand to its maximum height. Better be safe than sorry.
Overall, I'm very happy with this purchase and will definitely look at other products from this company.

Great kit. I have gone through a lot of LEDs searching for the right combination and am most happy with this complete set. With all the additional control accessories, barn doors, dimmable, bi-color, soft-diffusion etc. This kit was what I needed for remote blue/green screen interviews...one person at a time. Each panel has precise control and readout of the settings. The 3200 indoor setting is wonderful. I added a Savage LED-ELLG Edge Lit Pro LED Light (main) and Aputure LS mini (Hair/accent). The additional lights free up one of the GVM panels for back-up. I have been making films and video for decades and this is my current go-to kit worth recommending. The bag is a lifesaver as it holds everything...including the additional lights and the light stands are really very good as well.

The aluminum panels are sturdy and well made. The diffusion panels work well and the barn doors are a nice touch for additional control of light.

Color accuracy is good, as is the master/slave function. This is super convenient when you're on the clock and need to shoot quickly.

Again the RGB control is very good and easy to adjust. I've purchased three of these units so far and plan on adding another two in the next few weeks. I would highly recommend them for your home or studio needs.
