These pillows are synonymous with soft yet firm and good sleep. The queen size is even great on our daughter's full bed. Unlike smaller pillows, they fill out the pillowcase nicely while still being AMAZING to sleep on. These are the only pillows I will buy now, and I've tried many from Bloomingdale's, Garnet Hill, The Company Store, etc.

I've learned the hard way to not review a pillow until I've slept on it a while. I've had this jewel among pillows for three months and I love it! After running the gamut of almost every pillow on offer (a cast of hundreds,) this is the one for me. Wonderfully comfortable. Exactly what I wanted.

I sleep on one side throughout the night and the pillow remains soft, but never flattens. The pillow is not overstuffed, it's quite perfect.

Before you gasp at the price, please just consider the money thrown away on pillows that have ended up at Good Will. This pillow is worth every penny.

I strongly suggest that you not make one of my mistakes...thinking a pillow of 50% down and 50% feathers will be okay. IT'S NOT. It's like sleeping on quills. Hard. And if there's an ounce of down in those pillows, you coulda fooled me. I woke up every morning with a sore ear. And noisy! Who ever heard of a noisy pillow? Go the 50-50 route to find out. Crunch, crunch...

If you like down pillows, this is the way to go. Beyond that, the only other decision is the firmness. Mine is Medium Firm and, as I said, it's soft but doesn't flatten out after several hours of sleep in one position.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND

I have tried this for 2 weeks now and haven't slept so well in a long time. I know that's a lot to put on a pillow, but for headache prone people, you'll understand what I mean. I tried the bamboo pillow, but it's too firm and unyielding for me, as a back and side sleeper. I've tried the down alternative pillows for years, but they go flat quite quickly in spite of the claims and turn into strange shaped footballs. Ouch. I finally considered where I've enjoyed the pillows the most, and that's at hotels, where they use down pillows, and I caved. I am glad I got this one with 550 fill instead of 700. I think it is perfect and it is malleable. I can squish it how I want and it holds the position. I did put on a fancy dust mite zippered cover on it (not the cheap, crunchy kind. ick). I could not be more pleased with this purchase. Well worth the money.

I have searched high and low for the prefect pillow. My trial and error pillow hunting used to annoy my husband and he would jokingly blame it on my "abnormal" head and that no pillow would suit me. It was getting pretty exhausting buying and returning several different pillows. I'd wake up many days with a stiff neck and restless sleep. Not any longer! After searching high and low, the search for the prefect pillow has ended with this one! I have been using this pillow for one year and I still love it. It has held its shape very well and worth every penny. It's lightweight and the density is spot on (not too firm, not too soft, but juuust right). Feels like I'm sleeping on one of those fancy hotel pillows every night. I go to sleep on my back, roll to my side and tummy in the middle of the night, then wake up on my back again. I find all sleeping positions to be comfortable with this pillow. Highly recommend!

LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS PILLOW, my search is over--I found the perfect pillow for my taste. In the last 2 years I returned 2 bamboo pillows and 2 down pillows for the same reason--they were horrible. I was looking for the goose down pillow , no feathers to poke my head, with the firm support. This pillow is perfect for me. I bought one pillow, but I am planning to buy another one for my birthday for the "double pleasure", though I sleep alone. thx Better Down--you did a great job, please, don't stop making these beautiful pillows.
UPDATE: I JUST BOUGHT MY SECOND PILLOW TO COMPLETE THE SET, I REALLY LOVE THEM--HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
These pillows are the best ! For me--my pillows are as important as my sleep, and my sleep is important as my health is. I am sleeping on my first pillow for a few weeks already, I did not flattened or lost its firmness, it is good as at the first night I slept on it. And when I lay down on the pillow-my head is so comfortable, that I don't want to move, that's how I enjoy the position of my head, and feel the firmness and support of my head. I can stay the whole night in the same position, no turning of tossing, its a great pillow for the back or sides sleepers. I would like to thank the company, who makes these beautiful pillows .
