I'd bought an identical switch from another company that was faulty. On opening these I wondered how I would fare. I tried to install one, but it was DOA as was the one from the other company. Without much hope I unhooked it a replaced with the second one in this order. I was pleasently surprised when I turned the breaker on to see the switch light up (in a good way).
I was able to hook the switch into my network, but have not been able to get Alexa to see the switch. I'm not new to this process as I have about a dozen "smart" switchs around the house, from Insteon and Sonoff (great little switch) to Elecctv. Anyway, nothing disasterous, but am looking for another wall switch.

First let me say that I am a big fan of Meross products and have purchased and used a wide variety of them with excellent results. I was excited when this product was announced and am quite disappointed with this product. With this product I have experienced several problems:
1. In my application I installed these switches in existing, mult-gang wall switch boxes. If your application is a single gang box and you just plan to use the Meross provided cover plate everything will work fine for you. However, if you also have a multi-gang wall box OR if you plan to use your own wall cover plate be advised that for some completely illogical reason Meross chose to manufacture the part of the switch that protrudes through the cover plate with a non-standard corner radius. WARNING: what this means is this switch WILL NOT fit through any standard decora style cover plate unless you are willing to spend the time tediously hand-filing each of the four corners. If you don't hand file the corners the face of the switch will sit behind the wall plate which I found aesthetically unacceptable as I want all of the devices to be mounted flush with the face of the wall plate.
2. The touch pads stopped working after a few days so I can no longer manually turn lights on or off using the switch. My automated script for on / off times continue to work and I still have the ability to turn lights on and off with my phone app. The ability for family and guests to be able to turn lights on / off at the wall was one of the very reasons I purchased this product in the first place.
3. The screw terminals on the back of the switch can be very difficult to use based upon how crowded the gang box is with other wires, the length of existing wires, and most importantly whether or not existing wires are solid or stranded wire. Meross provides stranded jumper wires that are too short to be practical and that are pre-stripped to short on one end for a wire nut connection. In my experience I had repeated failures of the stranded wire being able to remain secured to the screw terminals while securing the switch in the gang box. I did not have any failures with solid wires.
4. A minor complaint is that these switches are only available in white and are not sold in any of the other standard colors supplied by other wall switch manufacturers. Hopefully, the color selection will expand as Meross matures as a company.

I've been very pleased with this device. This outlet connected to my WiFi without any issue, the app is super simple and intuitive, without skimping on options, and it has worked flawlessly for the last several months I've had it. The IFTTT integration has been great as well, I have it connected to several motion sensors that are also IFTTT connected, so when any motion is seen, all my lights connected to this device light up Sherman's march through Atlanta. Very pleased, would buy again.

VERY cool smart plug. The features of this thing are AWESOME.
* You can control the outlets individually (there are two).
* A single outlet can handle up to 10amps
* You can use each outlet as a timer on a different schedule(s)
* You can create macros to control multiple devices from your phone
* The phone app (I use iPhone) is great and easy to use.
* The phone app, on iPhone, does have widgets so you can add controls to your widget screen!

I'm a fan. My only complaint, and this is listed on the product so it's more of a wish, is that the single outlet is maxed out at 10amps. I'd really like a 15amp outdoor version.

Purchased this for my front porch light, I was tired of it being left on all night, but didn't want a dusk/dawn light. This light switch was easy to install, looks nice, and seems to be built pretty well. I have some of the meross wifi outlets, which work terrific also. Decided to give these a shot. I liked the one so much i bought a 2 pack of the light switches for some other rooms in the house. the app is easy to use, an update to the firmware (coming out in the future) is supposed to let you select a random on/off schedule. I recommend these to anyone looking for wifi light switchers or outlets!
