My first unit lasted exactly 7 years. Everything was fine except part of the washer tub suspension broke so it rocked side to side during the spin cycle. I could have had it fixed but it got alot of use already and it broke during the Black Friday sales. I'm 6'6" 400lbs and wear baggy oversized clothes and I wash my clothes everyday, I even wash my giant jeans every day so it's probably the equivalent usage of 3 normal size adults using this unit. You can only use 1 of the wash cycles called "Heavy" because all the other wash settings are too water efficient to wash anything but a few socks. I'm on my 2nd unit now as of December 2022. I only buy these 24" wide units because I have to. I live in a condo that used to be an apartment building and I can't fit the more common 27" wide version that more manufacturers make without removing the water faucets on the wall. Looking back I should have just manned up and done that. This is the ONLY Stacked Laundry Center with a Gas Dryer available narrower than 27" The first unit lasted 7 years but the new and old units are super water efficient and only fills up half way on the heavy (formerly "power") cycle so I end up doing 3x the amount of laundry because I'm a big guy with big clothes. I'm sure that's why the underneath neighbors are always calling the cops on me. Don't buy if you don't have to. My opinion is Gas Dryers are way better than Electric dryers because it feels like a fresher dry and Gas uses less money to dry. The 2022 unit was also much quieter than the 2015 version which made a weird robot motor noise when it was washing.

I found that it fills up the basket to the top only if you use this feature. A decent washer and dryer.
