This is the PERFECT slip-and I'm so picky! This knitted silk breathes and feels good against your skin. I don't even realize I'm wearing a slip when I have this on. The waistband is fabulous-nothing binds or pinches. This is SO much better than those regular half slips in nylon. I'm 25"/26" waist, 35" hips. I wear a size 2. The medium is perfect.I like a comfortable fit. This is a traditionally fitting slip and not a skin-tight, bodycon type. It's slim fitting under a dress that hangs from the waist. It doesn't add any girth under my clothes, but I don't wear tight fitting dresses. It wouldn't work under anything skin tight unless you bought a smaller size. I can wash this in the machine and hang to dry. I accidentally put it through the dryer on the synthetic cycle and it was perfectly fine! Maybe it shrank a little, but I don't think so. Amazing slip. I would pay much more for it, actually.

I ordered this because I absolutely hate the synthetic and stuffy feeling of traditional slips. I also have several skirts and dresses in more sheer fabrics so I needed something. This is breathable and super comfortable to wear. The lace waistband is soft and not too restrictive. I got a size M and I am normally a US 4/6, so I would suggest sizing up. I am considering getting the full slip in this brand because I love this so much. The fabric does seem a little delicate, but I think it will last if treated with care.
